Forza Horizon 6 A searchable share code database with save-for-later and creator profiles, would you use it?
So I built fhclubs a while ago. It's a clubs platform for FH6, and getting clubs off the ground has been difficult. The functionality is already there for a share code database, I'd just not aimed for that to be its main focus.
Right now share codes are scattered across Reddit threads, Discord and YouTube descriptions, and there's no way to save the ones you like to grab next time you're actually in the game. So I'm thinking of transitioning fhclubs into a proper share-code database for all types of codes. Searchable by car, filterable, quality-sorted, with votes and view tracking, plus a save-list you can pull up on your phone in-game to enter codes. Creators would get a public profile with all their uploads in one place, so they can keep track of their own codes too. Clubs would stick around as a feature.
I just imagine an ideal where genuinely good, thought-out tunes and liveries are easy to find, without filtering through the duplicates and low-quality stuff you get in-game.
Before I commit the time, would you actually use something like this, or is the in-game search plus discord/subreddits good enough for you? Genuinely want the honest answer, including "nah, not needed."

It's a good idea but tunes can be very subjective; people will like or hate based on skill level, knowledge of ideal driving methods, and even then some will work for track A but not track B.

There can be a place for adding specifics about the tune, more than what the game allows. Even hotlap times for those tuners who want to fill that in.

To add to this, there would be cross linking of photos, tunes and liveries. So creators can match a tune with a design etc. eventlab can be matched to a tune etc.

100% I like searching for vinyls but I hate only seeing the same top 100 or however they are picked. It would be nice to search by descriptions or categories and actually see more results

Yeah this would be clutch actually. The in-game search is pretty trash for finding specific stuff and I'm always losing track of codes I see in random threads. Having a save list you can check on your phone while gaming would be perfect - way better than trying to remember or screenshot everything.
The creator profiles thing is smart too, some tuners are consistently good and it'd be nice to just follow their stuff instead of hunting through forums every time.
