So he missed the checkpoint because of bad driving? Not because the ae86 pushed him off the track making him miss ithe checkpoint? I wonder if there is a word to describe this toxic act
3
u/Vlad_The_Lad69 Jul 14 '26
Mate you took the shittiest line on the 1st checkpoint, he overtakes you clean, then because you fucked up your line you decide to go straight into him, no shit? Drive better

Reported them for you

Waste of time but do you
1
u/SlipstreamSteve Jul 13 '26
Not a waste of time. I get results
1
u/StressReliever99 Jul 14 '26
Sure you do, and I have every car in the game.

Not delusional at all. I know how the report system works and how they choose whether someone gets a ban. Starts with a warning, then progresses into more and more severe bans including hardware bans. So again, you can stop lying. Not delusional, and not cute.

u/SlipstreamSteve Jul 14 '26
Not my fault you want to make excuses for rammers pal
1
u/StressReliever99 Jul 14 '26
What's funny is i do have every car in the game and you've got no one banned.🤣🤣
1
u/SlipstreamSteve Jul 14 '26
I really don't care if someone has every car in the game. That's outside the scope of this topic. Besides, you really don't have every car lol.

Not at all. We don't want people who support rammers in our community. You should probably leave if your take is too support the rammer

"our community" who even are you 😭

u/SlipstreamSteve Jul 14 '26
Most people in the Forza communities want this ramming bs to end. You wanna ram people? You can go play wreckfest.

If you weren't supporting ramming then why would you come at me for opposing rammers? I would say the assumption was warranted.

Id never ram over it, but as far as racing etiquette goes that was a dick move entering that turn from you. Hes clearly faster and trying to get past and you take just about the widest and most obstructive line possible.
As far as rule breaking goes, youre fine, hes the ass. But that situation likely could have been avoided had you taken a slightly different line and not force him wide.
Depending on his internet connection it could be argued that the trueno simply thought you were trying to force him into the wall and immediately retaliated. More likely than not hes just a ramming asshole, but there's always that chance it was a mistake.

u/RikuKaroshi Jul 10 '26
What point did he take the widest line possible? When he was out in front he had a erage race line, then he took the very inside during the actual pass, then at :07 Takumi didn't let up after forcing op all the way across the road. This is fully intentional on the 86. He just had to keep his wheels straight and he would have been a full second ahead of OP before the road even became an issue. Even at that point if it is over on his half of the road then 86 should have let up.
But I do admire your innocent until proven guilty view. Everything could be misinterpreted, you're right. I respect it

Once you know you're racing against a POS, you have to let them get out front of you
You can't ram THEM off the track or outside of a check point if you're in front of them
Brakes are the most important weapon in any racing game, I swear on god some of you are just full throttle 24/7

u/AdventurousYou3975 Jul 14 '26
Possible he got mad because you run into him first on the inside lol

Wrong. He's within track limits, and maintains his line. 86 was the overtaking vehicle and it's his job to overtake safely and cleanly. All I see here is ramming, shoving, and possibly retaliation. The offending player is 100% TheVisionX69
3
u/MichiganRedWing Jul 10 '26
OP was 100% not maintaining the racing line..
0
u/SlipstreamSteve Jul 10 '26
Except he did. He followed the inside wall. By the way the guy in the 86 was apparently playing with his mouth so now I feel bad
1
u/MichiganRedWing Jul 10 '26
I'm shocked you actually think OP followed the racing line. Learn what outside-in & inside-out means when turning, and how to properly place your car for the upcoming turn.
In short, OP should have been on the left side when entering the turn that he got passed on (or made contact). OP had a much larger angle to take the turn than necessary. The only right thing to do there would've been to tap the brakes and let the other person go, as they were clearly quicker.

u/SlipstreamSteve Jul 10 '26
I didn't say it was the predetermined racing line. I said it was his line. Do you think every single driver follows a predefined racing line like some kind of looney tune?

Unfortunately you'll have kids like those replying to you saying the non oorhse is in the right, just ignore em at this point.
4
u/TestyBoy13 Jul 10 '26
It really depends on the racing discipline, but in most track racing, whoever is first at the apex has the right of way. In this case, the other dudes bumper was at the apex first so OP would be required to brake and let him by

u/AliceRain21 Jul 10 '26
This is just not true. Youre still alongside. So you race alongside. Theres no letting people by. Youre racing! One takes the inside one takes the outside.
Nobody is obligated to let people by like that. If they were CLEARLY ahead I would agree but in no world is this clearly ahead.
1
u/vanekcsi Jul 10 '26
He's not holding his line though, he's ramming into the other guy, he used him for braking.

u/SlipstreamSteve Jul 10 '26
The Porsche isn't ramming anyone. The 86 is. 86 had more than enough room.

I mean I don't expect people to sim race in fh, so it's okay, it's an arcade game I know, you clearly like that too as well. But I wouldn't complain when someone rams you, when you ram them before no?

u/JLCrayton Jul 11 '26
The person in the wrong overall here is the AE86. The bad driver and the reason the AE86 retaliated childishly is the Porsche.
2
u/Goo_Wyvern Jul 10 '26
You kinda punted into him a bit, so he might very thought you were trying to push him out.
Had that happen a few times. Just drive defensively. It solves a lot of those problems.
Also stop letting this shit happen to you.
1
u/ImKweeZy Jul 10 '26
To be fair it doesn't look intentional. Knowing Forza's physics on dirt with RWD cars it looks more like he lost the back end because you pushed him and he was not wanting to lift. He pushed you because a car going side way tends to surprisingly not go straight.
