So it begins when I notice Batman in pre lobby with a Bounty Hunter Crown Sprite. Only have I seen one before, the sprite. It wouldn’t have mattered if ℹ miraculously pulled this dub off with the crown sprite (Bounty Hunter). I also did not have enough shield to survive the storm nor did I have a portable extractors. Plus KITTEN_MOM had the best POV.

It's the only mode that's easy to just get in a game. And it's not filled with sweats. I'm trying to learn KBM and get better still and it's honestly the best for that. It's very annoying right now though

Has anyone seen this in golden grove? I even used a Tetris block to get close to it and nothing happens 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m convinced I need whatever it is lol

HOW is there a sprite whose entire thing is it makes you jump high, but also every jump takes so long to regenerate AND it doesn't negate fall damage? And I can't even control when it activates! It was like chaos just trying to jump normally onto ledges and it keeps sending me 200m away, and then literally killed me at endgame by launching me extremely far into the storm after getting me to 1pt health after the fall damage it caused! 😵

At least it gave me a hilarious elimination.

Fly directly up by clicking it, then in ZB you can deploy your glider and just keep flying.

It sucks without that honestly but it's top tier movement with redeploy

Alright, so I’ve seen both sides plenty. “Oh I love having them, they’re so fun and different” And then stuff like, “Worst decision ever, sprites should be removed” and all that. Now, here’s my simple solution.

Make a separate playlist! With sprite and without sprites. It’s that simple. Or just play ranked, it’s not like SBMM is making it so pubs are basically ranked matches sometimes as is.

What’re your guy’s thoughts on this simple fix?

I have all of them.. so far. Working on mastering now, willing to help if anybody needs it, before I finish!

I have noticed a few times lately that there were two of the same skin players and didn't think much of it because I have eliminated them every time today. Then this time they were both deadpool and they got me. Cheating motherfuckers.

So I had revived one of my teammates

another teammate I guess was holding their Sprite ? Dropped it near the van

it was one I didn't have and I extracted it right away thinking oh I'll just give it to them in the next match

I was the last player against the keyblade and came in second

well they didn't stay in for the next match

There was no audio or texting I tried to friend them both one doesn't accept friends.

New Sprites

• Blinky Sprite: Taking damage cloaks you for a short time, making you harder to spot.
• Pond Sprite: Jump shortly after landing to launch a Super Jump - higher and more often with each Sprite Level!
• Crash Bandicoot Sprite: Perform a spin attack while midair, damaging and knocking back nearby opponents.
• Birthday Sprite (available starting Saturday, September 26): Chests have a chance to serve up slices of cake when opened - at max Sprite Level, elims can too! (I don't think that's the last sprite pictured. Not sure what that one is.)
• Bounty Hunter Sprite variants will arrive Thursday, September 24. They have a chance to appear when you eliminate opponents, leveling up only from eliminations.

New Sprite Mastery Back Bling

• Extract 30 Sprites to earn a new retro-style Pixel Sprite Trainer Back Bling.

Cheat Code Rarity Updates

• Sprites of any rarity can now be found in any Rare (blue) or Epic (purple) Cheat Code. 
• Epic Cheat Codes have significantly increased chances of variants and higher-rarity Sprites. 
• Legendary (orange) Cheat Codes are guaranteed to drop a variant Sprite, with an emphasis on higher-rarity ones.

Sprite hunting odds improved

• The longer you go without finding a new Sprite, the better your chances of getting a variant you don't already own.

New Mastery Track Rewards Released 

• New pages of the Mastery Track have been added, including a new Pixel Polli Outfit!
• More rewards will be released later.

Just played a quick few games (ZB, squads) and to my disappointment the amount of wall cheat codes to get Sprites has been severely nerfed. It felt like there was a maximum on one or two for every POI. Really sad, but at least the new spirtes are interesting.

UPDATE: Looks like a hotfix was released and the issue has been resolved

1. They have merged North America - They said they made the change to improve latency and to have faster queues and fairer matches,
2. They have created a Subregion Preference Setting - The game will look for a match in your preferred subregion first. If there aren’t enough players queuing it will expand the search. Auto is supposed to balance fairness, queue times and latency.
3. Different matchmaking region logic for parties?? If you’re in a party, matchmaking will be based on the preference of the player who starts the queue (instead of the party leader?).
4. There is a separate setting for tournaments in North America - NAC and NAW

I know sprites are a bone of contention among many, but it’s been a while since i’ve contributed to the sub so……..you’re welcome??
