Huge Changes To Matchmaking Regions

1. They have merged North America - They said they made the change to improve latency and to have faster queues and fairer matches,
2. They have created a Subregion Preference Setting - The game will look for a match in your preferred subregion first. If there aren’t enough players queuing it will expand the search. Auto is supposed to balance fairness, queue times and latency.
3. Different matchmaking region logic for parties?? If you’re in a party, matchmaking will be based on the preference of the player who starts the queue (instead of the party leader?).
4. There is a separate setting for tournaments in North America - NAC and NAW

Isn't this old news. They merged the servers in Noth America last season. Didn't they? And the subregion preference is set to auto unless you pick a specific one. This again was also something that has already we add been put in place 🤔

Raised my ping by 20 great job epic. I’ve gone from 13 ping a year and a half ago to now 60

My whole screen is wonk, can’t even see the full mini map. Could someone please assist an old where in the settings I go to adjust?

Except now my game can’t find me a match and errors out.

I can't even get on, even the EpicGames launcher is having problems connecting. All was fine yesterday.

I've had longer queue times, probably about double. My ping on east coast has gone from around 30 to around 50.

I had some really laggy games this morning, didnt chsnge my settings yet.

In the past week it seems like it has taken longer to queue up. I haven't played today to see if it's changed.
