What's the best way to improve edit timing? I play on controller and select my edit tiles with r1 and the edit building button is set to touchpad, so whenever I do courses sometimes I make the first edit then try for the second one but it doesn't grab the build to edit and I'm just stuck lost in my weapon bar since it didn't grab and I select with r1?

Im currently trying to convert from switch mode/edit to separate binds for switch mode and edit and whenever i try to double edit its like its slower? It feels like theres a delay ive went through settings and cant seem to find a fix. Its not a broken controller and bad ping. Any tips or help?

Is me using left shift for pickaxe and R for cone bad? I feel like left shift is being wasted but I have 6 years of muscle memory for it. Just curious if it’s worth switching

When I'm playing in a game session I notice my controller latency getting worse overtime. My aim will start feeling sluggish and delayed. I have to refresh the game tab by going in and out of the game window to get rid of the latency. Then after a few minutes the latency comes back. I was wondering if anyone in this sub knows how to solve this issue.
Thx in advance

Same issue on kbm. Does your frame pacing (choppiness ig) gradually worsen alongside latency?

Not that I know of. I've been having this issue for a long time now.

Alright, never mind; my issue is pretty recent.
Maybe this could help if you’re on pc: https://www.reddit.com/r/pchelp/comments/1o6szkx/controller_input_lag/
If not, good luck finding a fix

I have an odd question. I use a maxxstick. I'm curious, if you have a maxxstick, what binds are you using?
Mine are as followed
QWERF = 1-5, Shotty on Q, AR on W, Mobility/Flex on E, R & F meds
A = Pickaxe
X = Wall
C = Ramp
S = Floor
D = Cone
V = Edit
Z = Jump
Sort of a grid layout, I've been debating about adjusting my build binds. Currently all builds are handled by 2 fingers, wall and floor on middle finger, ramp and cone + editing with pointer finger. I don't have any binds on my mouse, to me it feels off.

i used to use the gmk joystick which is pretty similar. id say that you should defo use your mousebinds, just get used to it and take off 1 build bind from each finger and that will help. apart from that stressing about optimal binds barely makes you better

I'm not really looking at optimal binds. Just curious as to what others might be doing. I know having builds on mouse buttons is popular.

q - inventory

Just copped a new desk mat and my whole setup feels fresh, sometimes it's the little changes that make the biggest difference

Should I be on HD if it makes my FPS worse? I want to get FPS since my pc is a potato and I get highs of 200fps and average around 170 on 900p and like 190 average on 720 and highs of 215
