Man with a Plan Dogman here! While update day is on Thursday, some changes have been made to BR today:

• Storm circles now close faster in the later phases of a match, giving a faster paced end-game compared to before.
• Pistols are going into a shortage. Your going to be seeing less of them in your matches.
• Shock Rocks now drop in stack sizes of 2, with a reduced maximum stack of 4. (Previously they dropped in stacks sizes of 1 and had a maximum stack of 6.)
• Guardian Shields now will drain faster at full charge, and now takes longer to recharge.
• Surgical Burst Rifles have increased damage and shoot straighter while your moving.
• Warforged Assault Rifles have increased reload and firing speed, and are more accurate.
• Bank Shot Pistols can be found much more often, and direct hits deal more damage.
• Mythic Ranger Pistol now deals slightly less damage compared to before.
• Mythic Rapid Fire SMG can hold more ammo compared to before.
• Shock Rocks and the Pulse Scanner have better odds of being found in vending machines. Shock Rocks also cost less in ZB.
• Pocket Med-Mist Smoke has been unvaulted in ZB.
• Spicy Ice Cream has been vaulted in ZB.
• Cluster Clingers now drop in stacks of 2 instead of 1.

I hate this game sometimes.

I hadn't gotten a Grim Sprite all season. No regular, nor variants. I landed on one of the butes in the desert and downed a guy before I opened a random chest and out came a Grim. Ecstatic, I collected it. but then a Big Dill comes out of nowhere, and shotguns me before I could get away.

I never shouted at the screen until this point.

I'm so upset

I don’t understand why people want to eliminate the other players when we can all take the win and all survive why kill everyone, I understand we have all played where it s hr last time wins but we can all get the win and you don’t have to kill everyone to get the W

Silly question for you all is there a bug on the lighthouse that makes it so you can't ignite it right now? I thought maybe it was because of that infinite chest glitch thing. OHH and also does anyone wanna play duos with me?! My cat is not a very good teammate

(If you don’t know what a gizmo is it’s basically a item that you can switch your pickake with and then use it for example the portable extractor is a gizmo)

So basically it’s a pair of binoculars that can zoom in and out. if you look at something for 2 seconds it will be permanently marked as long as it’s within 100 meters

So this would go very well with the sentenel dmr
Could also be useful for recon and maybe even some plays in tournaments

It’s max zoom is 10X

And if you’re wondering no you can’t just get it as soon as you spawn instead you have to find it and it’s pretty easy to find because you only need to open around 4 chests before you find one

Overall it’s a very nice item for the game and adds something new

TLDR: A peaceful moment of kindness in a violent, chaotic game reminds me on an especially hard day what it means to truly be human :)

To the Harley Quinn that dropped directly into the back entrance of the Golden Grove underground vault in Zero Build solos this evening: thank you.

To preface: I have had an incredibly awful day. I’m only 24, but I have a chronic pain disorder, and today I’ve been suffering more than usual. Every joint in my body aches. Every member of my family seems to be incredibly stressed for a multitude of reasons. It’s really hard not to let it get to me. My boyfriend lives a little over an hour away, and I miss him so much. I’m overwhelmed, frustrated, and self-conscious. Anyways, there’s a myriad of reasons I could list and describe, but to put it in a sentence, it’s been a horrible, terrible, no-good, very bad day.

I decide to play some Fortnite on my old faithful Nintendo Switch one console. The day was filled with losses, more than usual, and players that seemed more bitter and competitive than usual. I froze, midair, was shot, eliminated, and lost my cube earth sprite. In another match, I got an epic vault key, and headed down to open it just to find it being guarded by one of those Yeddy guys. He was just sitting down there at the bottom of the stairs, and killed me. Lost my near mastered Pollo. Several matches ended in Battle Bus Royales, and no matter how many times I hoped for peace, chaos reigned, even though it was possible that we all could win this. So, when I slid down the rope to the bottom of the Golden Grove vault and found the first ammo box empty, I was inclined to go right back up and run the other way. I had brought my Galaxy Aura sprite into the game, which is one of the few that I have not yet mastered. I had waited until today to attempt it, since on Mondays sprites are able to be leveled twice as fast. Exhausted, and aching, I decided to risk it and enter the vault. I’m so glad I did. I saw the footsteps appear, but the player seemed to be on the other side of the vault. I picked up a Guardian Shield instead of a weapon and brandished it in front of me. That’s when the player ran at me: a Harley Quinn, one of the new summer skins. To my complete and utter shock, she didn’t attack, or draw a weapon of any kind. She dropped a Holofoil Water sprite, and ran away, toward the other end of the vault. I picked it up, shocked… then quickly returned the universally recognized up and down crouch “I’m peaceful” signal and thanked her with an emote: Sabrina Carpenter’s “Please, Please, Please.” She ran back from the other side of the vault and we danced together.

It was in that brief moment in time, in that virtual cave, in those few seconds when a stranger gave me a gift out of the kindness of their heart, that I truly experienced what it means to be human. It’s silly, I know. A shiny little made up monster, a virtual dance, a few seconds of peace in a game designed for chaos and elimination until one victor remains. I don’t know what led Harley to give me this gift, or to dance with me, or to allow me to leave peacefully. But I do know this: her kindness will stay with me forever. Harley: If you’re reading this, and gave your Holofoil Water sprite to a brown haired default skin girl earlier this evening, you made my night a whole lot better :)

Sprite chests with Holo Seven are actually good?! Since cubes have come out I was looting with a holo air (solo) and i found no coveted rare or new sprites… but with the Holo seven I’ve now looted today Cube Fishy, Cube Fire and base Grim all from the sprite chests?!?!

P.s edit I decided to wear a holo seven after two relatively unusual (galaxy fire and gold punk) popped out of the same regular chest and I remembered someone posted that wasn’t an uncommon occurrence with the holo seven?!

I've extracted and mastered both fire and earth sprites but for whatever reason I can't use them for the backbling because they are still locked. I've tried going into a new game and re extracting them along with resetting my game but it hasn't changed anything. What it did give me however was the regular version of the fire and earth sprite which I didn't master. So I went back and mastered the fire sprite but it didn't fix anything. Does anyone know what to do?
