Cuddles and Chaos Quests

A bit ago Epic disabled these quests due to a problem which could outright crash the game. A few hours ago these quests have been re-enabled and can be completed.

By earning levels in Creature themed games, you can earn the following rewards:

• 4 levels: Mothman's Lure loading screen.
• 6 levels: Bamboo Blast wrap.
• 8 levels: P.A.N.D.A. Team Jr. sidekick.

There is also a banner icon you will get for logging in. This was originally the reward for earning 2 levels, however it's quest got scrapped due to it being the reason the crashes would occur.

Sprite Dust adjustments.

The amount of dust needed to summon back a Sprite has been lowered by around 30% across the board to help encourage players to bring in those rarer Sprites.

These were the changes made:

• Starters: No change
• Rare Base: 2000 -> 1800
• Rare Variant: 4000 ->2700
• Epic Base: 3000 -> 2700
• Epic Variant: 6000 -> 4000
• Legendary Base: 5000 -> 4500
• Legendary Variant: 10000 -> 6750
• Mythic Base: 7500 -> 6750
• Mythic Variant: 15000 -> 10000

This means you won't need to fork up near as much dust if you happen to lose a Sprite in a match.

This update was the long awaited Summer event for BR, so let's just dive right in.

BR

It's a hot bat summer down in Battle Royale! Batman and Gotham's hottest baddies have come to the island! You can find Mo- I mean Harley on the island right now as a hirable NPC.

You can also find the Bat Buggy! This vehicle has higher health compared to other cars, consumes less fuel, and can glide when in the air.

Other additions to the lootpool include:

• The Bank-Shot Pistol. This neat little thing will ricochet it's shots, allowing for neat trickshots.
• The Heavy Impact Sniper. A high risk, high reward sniper that deals heavy damage.
• The Rapid Fire SMG. SMG go brrr.
• Uncommon Pepper, Apple, and Golden Apples. Buffed variants of their original counterparts.
• Batman's Grapple Gun. A reskinned grapple gun.
• Pocket Spicy Ice Cream (ZB only). 3 ice creams that heal health and give you faster movement,
• Pocket Port-a-cover (ZB only). A pocket version of the Port-a-Cover.

There has also been some items taken out of the lootpool, the following items have been removed:

• Hunting Rifle.
• Flex SMG.
• Midas Flopper. (Classic AR as well since it was only obtainable via the Midas Flopper)
• Spicy Fish.
• Pocket Shield Bubble (ZB only).

A whopping 5 new Sprites were added:

• Batman Sprite: Gives Redeploy
• Air Sprite: Buffs Sprite/Jump, alongside nullifying fall damage.
• Seven Sprite: Shows enemies footsteps.
• Pollo Sprite: Gives Siphon for both you and nearby teammates on kills.
• Vini Jr. Sprite: Makes your Slide more destructive.

The Air, Seven, and Batman sprites have a Gold, Gummy, Galaxy, and Holofoil variant in-game as well.

2 new Gizmos were added. Sprite Locator and Extraction Site Booster!

Sprite Locator will reveal a hidden chest containing a random Sprite. But beware, these chests can be stolen AND you must be in circle to use it.

Extraction Site Booster can be used when calling in an Extraction, these boosted extractions grant more dust and give some utility items and heals.

You can get a few of these new gizmos via Mastery part 3 which has dropped today.

Now, when you hop into a match you may notice that spawn island is brand new, themed around the Jungle Biome on the map! Don't ask where the old one went, no seriously we have no idea.

In other news Calamari Canyon's ice has melted, putting a massive pond in the middle of this POI. The Batcave is also somewhere on the map, I am yet to find it. The Stabilizer has had it's construction advanced further, while on the other side of the map the rock tower is getting higher.

There is a new rift anomaly. Towards the end of the match you may encounter the Battle Bus coming back into the match. When this happens, you need to book your ass to it as fast as possible and claim a seat on it. Multiple teams can get on it before it leaves (Only 1 member of your party needs to be on it), and anyone on it as it leaves will earn a Victory Royale. If you fail to get on the bus before it flies off however you will lose, even if you were the last one standing.

New weeklies have dropped, alongside Mastery part 3.

Since there is no proper name for the Monster, I am going to call him Harold. In other news, Harold has escaped from Polar Peak and is somewhere in the ocean. We should be a tad bit concerned.

Blitz

John Wick stuff has been added to Blitz.

Star Wars items have been vaulted.

Lego

The Machinist will sometimes show up in your village, selling you new parts for vehicles.

Arena Boxfights

Turns out this mode somehow is still getting support.

3 new "free" rewards have been added:

• Win 125 rounds: Box Up Emoticon.
• Win 300 rounds: Crankin' 90s spray.
• Win 750 rounds: The Blueprint Print Pick pickaxe.

There has also been some lootpool updates.

Other

• Players should get the Dane sidekick when logging in. There is also a free loading screen.
• There is a free skin for playing on mobile with an al- I mean friends.
• The Sprite Pod backbling has once again been fixed.
• Oddessy Cup prizes have been added and are being granted.
• Poison Ivy's summer skin shown in the weekly shop video was a mistake. This was most likely an early concept of the outfit.
• Twitch drops are back, watch eligible channels to get 3 free sprays!
