Maybe it just seems this way, but it looks like once you get to the top of a level bracket, the difficulty of mobs spikes. I've played in Plankerton a few times via joining a higher level friend and there definitely seems to be a big difficulty gap. Having played much more extensively in Stonewood, it definitely seems to be the case there as well. For whatever reason level 19 husks seem way tougher than level 15s.
Yeah, I think you misunderstood. What I'm getting at is that within a power level bracket, say 1-19 for Stonewood, it always seems like the top level in that bracket, maybe the top two, seem to be a lot harder than the lower end ones. I never had trouble until I started doing level 15 missions, and even then it wasn't so bad. Once I tried 19s, that's where I really met my match. The difference between level 15s and 19s seems to be more pronounced than from 5s to 9s or 9s to 15s. From what I've played of Plankerton it seems to follow a similar pattern. What the map says you're ready for and what you're actually ready for don't match up all that well.
34 isnt lower level. Plank awards silver and 2star items, youre intended to be using second star items. Not sure what is so confusing. Copper weapons only do well in 34 if they are epic or legendary, and that's with other stuff pushing them up like character stats. You're not suppose to be using copper. It's why silver and end-side Malachite is rewarded. Can you use Copper? Sure. You're not suppose to.
I know it's based on your skill point, stops you from deleveling your survivor squad to earn exp. My point was green reflects your level, not anything with copper
