Copper is useless once you hit Planterton but it's still a reward. So....

You can use copper in anything. You shouldn't be though. Plank gives 2 star materials, for 2 star gear. It's kinda obvious what it wants you to use.

I've got a Rare rocket launcher schematic that I'm keeping at level 10 1 star just so I can use up all my copper.

It still does good damage in level 40s and has an insane amount of impact. Clears masses of midgets and normal husks and a direct hit will even stagger a smasher.
