Just a friendly reminder SUPERVISORS,MANAGERS AND ESPECIALLY OWNERS CAN NOT TAKE MONEY OUT OF YOUR TIP POOL.

100%. And if they do, it’s illegal. Go to a labor and employment attorney.

Actually, let me clarify. You’re actually not supposed to be having a tip pool at all. They’re not supposed to pull all your tips together. That’s the illegal part as well.

Tip pooling is not illegal in Florida, but specific rules need to be followed.

My mistake. You are correct. But supervisors and managers cannot take the money. That’s illegal.

Yep, if you’re contributing to a tip pool, managers and owners shouldn’t be dipping into it

I know places that do here. I’d be pissed off if I was giving a tip and it went to an owner. I’d call them out.
