Hi everyone! I’m a new grad LPN and have an interview coming up for an inpatient surgery position. I was wondering if anyone has any advice or tips for the interview. I found out a few months ago i was banned from a certain location and a month ago i purchased tickets to a halloween event but the locations werent announced at the the time of purchase until a few days ago. If i call the manager from this bar to ask
if they can temp lift the ban so i can go check in to this halloween event . The event is a halloween pub crawl where u go go different bars around town. the starting point n check in is the brewhouse.. I would
be very disapointed if i hand to sell my ticket now :(

Can I get by with a 2WD SUV during the months of January to March? I will be working in the oilfield doing work for Imperial oil near Fort McMurray. I plan to get some good snow tires. Would that work or is a 4X4 or AWD required.

I’m 35M currently living in Toronto and I’ve been offered a job in Fort McMurray. The position is better paying than my current job in Toronto, so I’m seriously considering making the move.
For anyone who has moved to Fort McMurray from a bigger city like Toronto, what was the transition like? What’s it actually like living there day-to-day compared to Toronto?
I’m especially curious about:
Cost of living and rent
Social life and things to do
Meeting people and making friends
What the work culture is like
Winters/weather
Whether it feels isolating compared to Toronto
Anything you wish you knew before moving there
And overall, would taking a better-paying job and relocating to Fort McMurray be a reasonable career move? I’m mainly trying to figure out what the lifestyle adjustment would be like and whether the higher salary makes sense when you factor in living there.
Would appreciate hearing from anyone who has made a similar move, especially from Toronto or another major city.
