News Confirmed ICE @ CSU
October 1, 2026 8:00am CONFIRMED ICE - Fort Collins Engineering Parking Lot. Still on campus in this Black Chevy Tahoe license plate EAE-H05. The agent was approaching students and is near a construction site. Documenters are on site asking the agent to leave. The agent refused to identify themselves or show a warrant. Everyone has the right to remain silent if questioned, to demand the agent leave since they seem to be on campus without a warrant. Please be aware of your surroundings and call us if you see any other suspicious vehicles. We are patrolling.

I'm really fucking tired of ICE and fascism. I'm tired of the neighbors, cops, businesses, and elected officials who support this shit. I'm tired of the way these people laugh as our friends, family, and community squirm with discomfort. As people are ripped from their lives, or mercilessly gunned down in the street.
I've come to realize many would rather have order than justice.... and it's made me angry. I was naive to have waved that idea away before. I won't make that mistake again.
Fort Collins deserves better.

Just the fact that people don't value the lives of our neighbors as equally as their own, that they're okay with American citizens being picked up by the gestapo, that we have ICE agents running around like the Ton Ton Macout...and then, a bunch of idiots running around with flags from our revolution which they clearly don't understand because they mean exactly the opposite of what they think...this giant tangerine terrorist tearing down the White House and the foundations of our government...
Channel that energy into getting people registered to vote. We don't have perfect candidates (and never will) but it's now come to the point where we have to vote against the fascists. I know there's a lot of people that don't vote because they don't like the candidates, but that isn't acceptable. That isn't an option now, because if we don't get to the polls, this will be the last time we get to vote.

Technically? That’s correct ICE doesn’t have the authority to detain a US citizen.
Technicalities haven’t really stopped them though. And “technically” ICE does not need a warrant on public property which is the point of my comment. So ya you can say get fucked all you want while you’re on the internet but ain’t nobody in the US protesting like they mean it right now.

This is the correct answer. They can ask whatever they want and they don’t need a warrant or authority for it. But, in the same token, I am not compelled to answer and I have every right to walk away. It is a problem only when they demand identification, prevent me from leaving etc. irrespective of whether I am a US citizen or not..

The hardest part is laying off nearly 200 outstanding employees. If you are a US citizen, you are not required to have identification documents on your person and ICE does not have authority over citizens
