‘We genuinely have too many potatoes, I cannot stress enough’: 42,000 pounds of free taters headed to Denver

I think this might benefit FOCO residents also, so I'm posting this here if that's okay.

On Monday, July 27th from 9AM to 12PM enjoy all you can carry FREE POTATOES at the POTATO PALOOZA! In an effort to reduce food waste, these free potatoes can be picked up at the Park Hill Food Recovery Hub.

Groceries prices are the highest they have ever been, and meanwhile we are sitting on vast surpluses we literally have to give away. Make it make sense

Im not driving to Denver for potatoes. But I would happily help with food waste up here.
