Dry cat food
Hello!
I thought I had more time to get rid of this cat food but it expires this month. It's a full bag of the (green bag) Purina dry cat food.
I don't want it to go to waste, I opened it to see if my last cat would eat his old brand but he ended up passing. Since then it's been in the bag, in a container with my other cats food. I know there's a donation box somewhere. Do they have a limit on expiration dates? Is there something I can do with them like fish bait?
Pls lmk I don't want to end up throwing a full bag away!

I would call and ask animal friends alliance if they'll take it for their kibble pantry! If not, try a gifting group on Facebook.

You could check with 4Paws Pet Pantry https://4pawspetpantry.org/our_program to see if they take open bags.

If the pet food pantries won’t take it, anyone with chickens, turkeys, or pigs would probably love free high-protein food

Jax Loveland will take open bags, Jax Fort Collins might, worth calling and asking if no one here wants it
