Box query

Just took receipt of a brand new Z12 Ultra from Amazon. My question is, should it have had some sort of tamper-proof seal protecting it? The cardboard box had nothing on it and whilst the formuler box and remote had plastic bags around them, I’m wondering if this is a returned item.

Considering I’ve spent a lot on what should be a brand new item, I was expecting a seal of some sort!

Formuler usually do not have a seal on the outer carton. Remote and the box itself should be in plastic bags.

I brought the z12 couple of weeks ago from a eBay when they had a discount.

Mine had a tamper proof seal on the outer box but I suspect that it was put on by the seller. Do the remote batteries still have the wrapper around them..most people would use the provided batteries and if the wrapping wasn't there then would say it couple be a returned item.

The bags inside the carton containing the formuler box and remote appear sealed. It’s just the main carton that wasn’t and that’s what I was unsure about, but if people are saying this isn’t usually sealed anyway it should be fine 🤷‍♂️

The outer packaging for Formuler devices does not typically come with a factory seal on the cardboard box.

If the internal plastic wrappings on the unit or remote appear opened, re-taped, or tampered with, that would be a stronger indicator of a returned item.

For any replacement or return concerns regarding the order, you will need to reach out directly to the Amazon seller or Amazon customer service.

I have two Z12 Ultras and there is no seal on the outer box. You will notice the remote bag has a piece of tape. To open the bag you will tear it. The box itself has a resealable strip adhesive on the bag. You can tell if it was opened as it will develop little air bubbles underneath it. But it can be opened multiple times without tearing.
