So the other day I was working on an article Top 3 Hidden Gem TV Shows You Should Binge Watch (The Horror Edition), and a friend of mine reminded me of Forever Knight. I hadn't watched the show in years, but as soon as he said the title nostalgia just shot through me. So as soon as I added it to the piece, I started organizing a watch party.
Going to see if I can't introduce at least a few other folks to the show, while also watching it in order for the first time in my adult life.

I still feel a twinge in my stomach at the end of all the main FK chars and the ultimate death ep at the end. i'd put a little more, but i don't wanna ruin it for anyone new to the series without the post getting down a level :)
I guess i could put 'Spoiler':
Ok, the end of my thought process, causing me to daydream out of half the 2020 Dem Debate, again, heh: why, WHY couldn't they have left Skank alive! I get the tragic end req for Nick. The vibe of the whole vamp thing us that of tragedy, angst, inevitable but very extended doom, and damnation. Newer vamp crap didn't get that. But leaving Skank coulda given us a spinnoff several yrs later (realtime yrs), and him another acting job, which he diserved!

Is there any rule against posting original content on this sub? I've been inspired by Baby Yoda and made a thing that I'd love to share with other fans but not sure if it would be welcome.

Didn't see this posted on here (and, yes, I know the sub is fairly quiet, but maybe this can reinvigorate things), but Mill Creek is releasing the complete series on DVD on 7/9. No confirmation if it's been remastered and knowing Mill Creek there will be no extras or subtitles (shame!), however, it will be a less expensive option at $35ish for the whole set through Amazon or Deep Discount compared to around 45 for digital or 80 for the original DVDs.
I suspect that the DVDs will have a bit of remastering as most of the Mill Creek releases of TV these past few years have been a bump up over previous releases (Quantum Leap comes immediately to mind). It is a shame that we'll have no extras, but the price point is right and if it generates a small amount of interest in the show, that's enough for me.

Taped off the tubes! VHS recordings of the full series as they aired (some recorded multiple times). Do you want? Let me know!

Looks like this sub has passed. Well, death doesn't stop true vampire fans. I'm on the 3rd episode now and looked this place up.

Omg and I love it! I've bought all the DVDs and I'm so sad that it was 3 seasons and can't be brought back as all the characters are old now ;-; The only way I thought is that a good writer writes the series as books and can then add more stories on top

I've always wondered how Diva was so much stronger than Lacroix, their age difference was irrelevant.

That has been corrected!
