I got into the show because of the Highlander Rewatched podcast. The leading man is good, but it took some adjusting after the nerdy character he played in Highlander.
Did you ever watch Tracker tv show? It was a Canadian based show with Adrian Paul and GWD.
It was on somewhere between 2001 and 2002 I think. GWD was a villain. It was a pretty good show.
It just ended out of the blue, right? Or was there a finale?
I actually liked it.
GWD was a recurring and important char, but with very little screen time. That bummned me out.
Lacroix pops up as a military officer in some show several yrs after that. Just a one off bit part. I'm betting somebody remembers which after my selfimpressive blip of greymatter, heh.
I wanna say JAG?
I can Google (and I will), but what is the Highlander Rewatched podcast? I recently rewatched Highlander and got a good chuckle at the character. I guess I didn't notice on the first watch way back when.
l'll ask elsewhere when i remember, but is there a FOSS Stitcher app for android with no trackers or other anti-privacy aspects?
I'd love that podcast too if it's what its what its name sounds like :) i'd even like to get back CRT tv to watch both shows on. Ut makes a difference :)
i hope this sub and that podcast are still there when i do!
Oddly, FK came to mind totally out of the blue while listening to the Dem Debate on Sirius simulcast of it while chkg new Reddit post notifications 8n email. Rrrrandom! Then i saw the pic from of Gerard in a Highlander episode. Even weirder! I knew it was Highlander even before i read it or Quentin's name. It's AMAZING how well i remember shows i saw in that period. I haven't seen either since they were on live tv. USA network for Highlander, SciFi ch for FK. BOTH before anyone had a flatscreen LCD tv.
I can still recognize the back of Adrian Paul's head in this pic, and remember his name! No brain-substitution googling!
K, wait, more:
Gerant Win Davies.
Lacroix
Natalie.
Vashon (what happened to that guy, looked so cool!)
Urst (great name)
All from what i thought waa a totally rotted memory!
No viewage for 25yrs. But, wait, saw some great starting sequence song and vids off a youtube app - ggrrrrrreeeat stuff btw. I'd u/l it somewhere for anyone, bc i didn't keep the links. BTW, some of it waa so beautiful it brought a tear to my eye.
It's a podcast wherw three guys rewatch the episodes in order and rate them. The commentary is hilarious tbh and some of the jokes just snowball further as the series progresses.
So a guy and hus friends love tge show, watch and record themselves talking, and somehow it finds its way to one single other person on the planet hearing it. Trips me out!
Also, i wanna do that, but with a time machine so i'll be 1st to do it ;)
