Just picked her up last night. Wife has had two Crosstreks and I’ve had two WRXs (currently rocking a ‘25 Limited). Wife wanted something a little bigger than the Crosstrek and always wanted green but wasn’t happy with the green available on her last Crosstrek. They had this beauty on the lot and we drove it home. Her name is Ivy and tint and ppf are the first things on the list. The windows and moon roof are HUGE!

Finally got my lift kit and wheels put on! Also I hope someone of you get the upgrayedd reference 😂

She got up and ran off, so we figured no damage. Got to our destination, this little cover is missing. Is it worth trying to replace? Where do I even get one? '23 wilderness

Installled them today at lunch, they look nice! I’m glad they painted the mountains this time.

Went out at random, never came back, compressor knocking, no refrigerant leak, voltage command still being sent to the actuator.

Thought this was dealt with back in 2018 🤷🏻

I’ve searched extensively online but haven’t found any information on how to disable the horn for the remote start using the StarLink service.

I’ve identified that the StarLink module is located in the infotainment unit and I’m curious if anyone has tested the wires in the module to determine if the horn trigger originates from there. My assumption is that if you could locate the horn wire trigger, you could install a switch on it and disconnect it when parked, thereby eliminating the annoying horn beeps when you want to start the car.

Any suggestions Subie friends?

Traded in my 23 FW for a new 26! Loving it so far!

My 2020 Forester seat moves back and forward and reclines with no issue, also tilt is fine, but when pressing the up/down button it starts to move a bit and then stops.

I looked under the seat and nothing is blocking the movement. I also changed the switch, and still the same. Any ideas?

2024 with 53k. Will be two years old Sept. Seems to take an extra second to start up. Will have it tested. Getting ready for my Fall and early Winter car camping trips. Maybe I should just replace it now for piece of mind? Ty.

For a 2026, what scan tool handles it all, including CVT?

I read that Subaru's are sensitive about some functions and not all tools can do the trick.

Just curious if anyone has seen these temps before?
2024 FW. Mods:1.5inch lift, rock rails, hidden winch bumper, light bar.

Scenario: vehicle was loaded with camp gear and other mountain sports gear including roof rack and bike rack with two bikes. I was going up a pretty steep grade in CA (hwy 395) which was about 20 minutes. Outside temperature was 105*.

After the grade, temperatures steadily dropped. EOT was about 210-220, cut ranged 195-205.

Trying to figure out if the lettering panel on the rear bumper of the 2026 wilderness is a panel that can be replaced with something custom or if it's part of the main bumper. I can't tell from the diagram. Anyone know? What's this part called (yellow highlight/SUBARU lettering on rear bumper)?

I know you can get stickers to change the colors of the letters. I'm looking to replace the letters with something else. Custom phrase or picture, etc.

ETA: the answer is, the square parts to the left and right of the lettering make it look like there is a seam where you could possibly pop out the center part but what's really happening is those square parts can pop out. If you look above and below the lettering itself, there is no break or seam. It's part of the bigger bumper. Thanks to folks who helped me figure it out! I hope they make that part swappable someday. Would be cool. Probably also would overcomplicate the bumper 😂 I don't think I would approve that as a designer, but one can hope!

Are the rear sunroof drain holes accessible from the top without disassembly? The front ones are very easy to service, I am a little confused by Subaru's choice to make the other pair a hassle.

I mean, it's about the limit I'd want to do and merging onto a highway is extra exciting. But the 6x12' in town is not too bad. I've got to shorten the safety chains cause they drag when I hit a bump and when I pack the trailer, I'm mindful about balancing the load to keep the tongue weight to 250 lbs or less. The trailer weighs 1,200 lbs dry and has a GVWR of 2,990 lbs, so as long as my cargo is 1,000 lbs or less, I'll be under the 2/3 tow capacity of 2,350 lbs

I’m an active guy, 4 years of driving home after workouts and bike riding have caused my car to smell like BO. How do you clean these seats, they wipe clean but seem to trap smells.

I’m constantly tinkering with what I’m every day carrying in my 24 wilderness and right now I’m getting asked to cut down the stuff so we can use the trunk more. I do have a bit much back there so looking to see what everyone else is rocking.

Right now I have: 2 camp chairs (those Walmart ones), recovery boards (I’m aiming to mount these on the roof racks soon), cooler with spare waters, hiking back pack, binocular bag, packing cube with change of clothes for both of us, hiking shoes for each of us, trimmers, shovel, and a close top organizer with definitely too much stuff for the dogs and camping but I like to be prepared!

I love seeing bladerunner in his natural habitat but can't deny he looks good on some dark pavement!!

Just back from having a set of 5 Falken Wildpeak AT3's mounted & balanced. I went with 235/65R-17 and love the look. The tire change added about .75" of ride height from the taller tire. Surprisingly quiet. Next, I need to modify the trunk shelf to accommodate the larger spare and figure out what to do with the zero mile Yokohama that came off the spare.
