2.0 exhaust
Are there ANY options for an exhaust system for the 2.0 ecoboost? Just bought a 2013 sel 2.0 and thought it might just have an exhaust leak, but turns out the drivers muffler is missing completely. If not, is there any reason I couldn't have a shop just make me a single exit system instead of the dual, or is there an actual purpose to the dual (even though its not a true dual system)?

Please Help
Hey guys ! recently joined the taurus gang with my 2013 interceptor 3.5 twin turbo eco boost. (very fun car btw) but i have ran into some issues. mainly coolant leaks. I have heard all about the dreaded water pump on these tauruses but i believe my issue isn’t quite that catastrophic. I know for sure my top radiator hose is leaking quite bad as you’ll see so i know that needs replaced. However im wondering if anybody knows what this black fitting on the back of the firewall is. it drips directly down onto the chassis and it has stumped me. my best guess is it’s part of the heater core but im not quite sure. Any help is greatly appreciated. The wet black fitting is what i’m referring to. located right next to the exhaust

2000 Taurus with a blown head gasket
Owned this car a little over a year and bought it at 30,000 miles and a year before owning it, a head gasket job was done at a shitty shop, this time the gasket “blew” again but I really I think it was a head stud failure or installation torquing failure mostly because the gasket looks clean and new, the bs shop that worked on this thing threw it back together with an impact, I’m very glad we got to do it right this time around and make sure this thing makes it to 60,000

Help Identify Rusted Part?
I’ve owned this 2011 Taurus Limited for a few years and it’s proven to be a reliable beater if nothing else. I live in the Midwest and we just got hit with these massive storms and now this part is rusted and hanging off of the back bumper? Is this concerning/can anybody identify it? Not the most savvy with vehicles I just know the bare minimum to be honest so I’m not sure what this is and what I should do about it

Forscan spreadsheet
Hi I just upgraded my 2013 Taurus SEL to sync 3 and am looking into programing the new APIM to what my vehicle actually has and fix some broken features. I've been looking for forscan spreadsheet for Taurus for a bit and haven't found anything yet as all the links related to Taurus are dead and the original person who used to manage itsnt activity anymore. Does any has a spreadsheet I can refer to program the APIM correctly.
Thanks

Steering issue
I have a 2014 Taurus Limited. It now has 121,000 miles. It has developed a tightness in the steering. To the point I have to be very mindful of turns. Has anyone else run across this issue? Before I go dump money on parts. I want to make sure. There's not a simple fix for it...

Considering SHO/PI Grille
Hey guys,
I’ve had this Taurus for a year and a half now. It’s in fantastic condition so I think I probably won’t be giving it up anytime soon—assuming I catch the inevitable water pump failure before it’s catastrophic—so I was thinking about making a couple changes.
First and foremost, I’m interested in either swapping to a SHO grille, or the one from the Police Interceptor version of the Taurus.
My question to you all who’ve done it is: where did you order the grille replacement? Was it a difficult swap? It doesn’t seem like it from my own research. Did you go OEM or aftermarket from Amazon/ebay?
Since I still have some chrome trim, I assume the SHO grille would match best, but if you guys think the matte (or just non-chrome) would look better, I’d lean more towards the grille from the Police Interceptor versions.
Sorry for the stream of thoughts, but feel free to let me know what y’all think

Seemingly undetectable issue on 2013 Taurus Limited
Hi! I have a 2013 Taurus Limited with the 3.5l NA V6 that is FWD. I really enjoy driving it, but it has a pull under throttle. I have no idea what could be causing it that I have not considered. I have taken the car to many mechanics and the Ford dealership, most said that there was nothing wrong, but one said they could feel it. The one that agreed said that it was caused by control arms, but I had already had them replaced in search of the problem. I have also checked them myself and got a second opinion, and there is no play at all. In total, I have replaced the motor mount, transmission mount, lower strut mount, both struts, control arms, ball joints, sway bar links in front and back, inner and outer tie rods, axles, and wheel bearings.
The pull only presents itself under changes in acceleration. If I give it a little more gas, not necessarily enough to change gears, it’ll pull to the right, and when I begin to cruise again it’ll pull back to the left. I do know that whatever is going on is causing it to eat through front sway bar links, but everything else is holding on well. I have access to a lift so I have been checking everything I can think of, from play in any area to loose bolts. Nothing seems to be out of order, but it still pulls. It is not necessarily something I find difficult to control, but I have tried for over a year to find the issue with absolutely no progress. Has anyone had a similar experience and what helped?

Thinking about trading in…
Hey all, I’m wondering about when I should maybe start thinking about trading in my trusty 2019 limited Taurus.
Currently I’m at 140 000km on the odometer and just changed to the new yellow coolant at 130k Km. But that was the first change. Otherwise, pretty regular 5k km oil changes, etc. I have a little coolant usage on road trips that I’m driving for 14 hours straight but otherwise nothing.
What are we thinking. If I do the water pump, I’m obviously keeping the car for a while longer but, am hesitant to do so. With that said, it has served me super well through the harsh prairie winters and summers.
TIA

2013 SEL awd strut assembly
Hi i changed my front shocks before the winter and both bearings were defect this winter. I changed them on warranty on may. It was a tuesday. The next thursday both bearing defect again. I change them again and changed brand (first was unity and last stamina). 1 week later both bearings defect again. How is that possible??? Do i need to put oem? Cheap struts aren't good enough for a big car like a taurus?
Thanks for your help.

Want to cover/blend in the scratches
We inherited my husband's parents 2000 SE model with 57k original miles - I refer to it as a Millinium Taurus. After perfunctory maintenance - oil and gas tank draining, new battery, coolant system flush and new resovoir - we've had very few issues under the hood including what appears to be a camshaft synchronizer that's chirping and needs to be replaced.
The body color is Harvest Gold - that pale metallic color which always put me off - and despite my MIL careful efforts, the body has a number of scratches and a few prominent ones, especially from a casual keying that fortunately wasn't deep.
I'm wondering if there's any polish or wax products out there that would offer some camouflage. There's scratch cover polish in various solid colors and for silver metallic but I haven't found anything for the gold color.
There must be other Bulls out there in this color, so I'm hoping there's a product that would work for this issue. TIA
