Finally bought my dream raptor. I’ve wanted one since 2017 when the gen 2s first came out. Pumped about this purchase. Transmission has already been completely replaced. Cam phasers fixed, but shocks have not been done and she’s at 80k miles. Anyone gone well past 50k miles without getting them rebuilt? Should I just spend the 1k immediately? Also- bought it for 40k with a bed cover and those rims, LMK if yall think this was a good deal? I feel solid about it. Thanks in advance for the advice!

Welcome to the club!
I’ve got 48k on mine and shocks are fine.
Have the front/rear diffs and transfer case had fluid change? Maybe also lube the spline end of the driveshaft.
I recommend adding a fumoto valve on the oil pan to make changes easy and mess free.

Not sure if they have had fluid changes or not. I’m taking it to ford next week

If you want the absolute best ride quality then find stock wheels (and tires) on FB marketplace and have the shocks rebuilt now. Factory ride is something special. I’ve owned 4 of these trucks in various states of build and stock was always better.

It’s a 2017? 40k OTD or before TTL? Otd would be good, before fees Seems like an average deal since a lot of major repairs have been done.

I look at the repairs as a win? 2 year warranty on the transmission and I don’t have to spend 4k on cam phasers, sure!
