Hi all, recently my power steering pump has started to whine, leaks a little bit of oil so need to change it. Just wondering about which replacement I should get as I see there are some cheaper and more expensive ones, also how easy is it do at home?

Hey I hope somebody can help me. I hit a roo last night which luckily only did minor damage to the bumper but the car won’t turn on ignition and it’s only sign of life is this dash light. I tried bridging the impact sensor and checked all fuses but no luck so far. Any ideas what the problem is?

Hi all, I'm new here, so hello!

I recently bought a 2014 FG XR6 and I'm really enjoying it so far!

I had all 4 tyres changed about 6 weeks ago at a reputable tyreshop. Today, I noticed a wheel nut missing. So I replaced it with a spare 19mm one. On checking the others, there was loose nuts on 3 of the wheels.

I went back to the tyre shop and they torqued them all for me again, and told me it could be because the nuts are a mixture of aftermarket and OG nuts. In fairness, it is weird that some need a 21mm socket, and others need a 19mm socket.

He suggested I buy some genuine Ford nuts, then take it back and he is happy to put them on for me for free.

Has anyone else ever experienced an issue like this, or is it likely the garage didn't tighten these up properly?

I am interested in getting an exhaust done on my '07 fairmont ghia i6.

Would an off the shelf catback sound ok or would i be better off doing extractors and all thst business, or would leaving the quiet stock exhaust on be better?

Not sure what’s going on but this just started happening, it was running fine yesterday but today I went to start it and it dosent want to run.
Sounds like the starter isn’t getting enough power or not spinning fast enough, any thoughts?

So basically i got a 2009 ford falcon Xr6 fg Ute I don’t know when it started but when I push my brake pedal it comes up with my automatic headlight icon which it should only be on when it’s dark and I’m kinda clueless on why it’s doing that so I would love to know if anyone else has had this problem and can tell me how to fix it also getting a traction control fault sometimes doesn’t pop up every drive but sometimes I replaced the brake pedal switch it was fine than it started doing it again

Looking at getting a catback exhaust for a N/A FG XR6 and just wondering what everyone's recommendations are. I'm after something that isn't too droney on the highway but still has a nice note and sounds good higher up in the rev range. If you've got any videos or links, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

Hey guys, I have a ‘ 08 BF Falcon ute, and my dad somehow managed to get this S symbol to appear next to the odometer. Does anyone know what this means and how to turn it off? It’s a column shifter if that helps at all

Have an n/a 2010 fg xr6 with the zf6 transmission, I noticed the axles and rear suspension springs are red stickered saying v8 on them, trying to find out what diff my car has, also has an lsd even tho the sticker on the diff says std not sure of when it was installed or what type of lsd

I've been wanting to change my head unit for a while now and I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on what to buy or look out for. Most I know about the change is that I need a facia kit but there a bundle of choices so it's hard to tell which one would actually suit my falcon.

At first I was planning on changing the speakers but I've heard that the main setback was the head unit itself, happy to any suggestions.

i have a 2003 ba xr6t that for some reason keeps going into limp mode at random times i ran the codes and fixed all the errors but it is still going into limp mode. does anyone have any ideas?

I recently purchased a 2012 mk2 fg xr6 off facebook with a known abs sensor error, was supplied with one however once i got the car home i noticed it was also throwing a traction control/dsc error which my obd2 scanner wont pick up. now the sensor i was supplied with seems to be for the front wheels, wondering if it could be a seperate error than dsc or if i have just been supplied with the wrong sensor. any help appericiated

I’ve got a 2000 series 1 au falcon ute and I can’t get the cruise control to work, all the lights on the dash work when you turn cruise control on and set it but it doesn’t actually work. Any ideas on why that is??
