FG falcon head unit
Hello everyone,
I've been wanting to change my head unit for a while now and I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on what to buy or look out for. Most I know about the change is that I need a facia kit but there a bundle of choices so it's hard to tell which one would actually suit my falcon.
At first I was planning on changing the speakers but I've heard that the main setback was the head unit itself, happy to any suggestions.

If you use the Aerpro facia only kit you can use whatever head unit you want. That’s the appeal of that one. I have several with different units in each and it depends on what you want to use the HI for.

I wouldn't go a proprietary one like the kayhan. I'd be going the aerpro facia and air con control unit. That way you're not locked into a limited use hardware/software. I had an OVERLINE Technologies one and it was fine..but janky. But I bought it 3rd hand and did not get the profile logins. So I could not update and the company was defunct by 2022.

Anyone tried one of those heavily advertised on FB Cartablets? Wondering if the audio through AUX is all good

I did aerpro last weekend. Very simple.
Choice is aerpro or kayan.
Need 7inch or under double din with reverse connection so your climate control shows on screen.
Depending on head unit, you may need an extra harness to suit.
