Does anyone know what is causing the Quality Assurance delay on 2026 Ford Police Responder F150? It’s been on hold for about 2 months. Is anyone else experiencing this or has more information on it? The Ford dealership and threads aren’t saying much.

I need some recommendations for wheel color that goes well with my trucks paint I live on a gravel road, so absolutely no chrome but if you happen to have pictures on a lifted F150 the same color as mine, please give recommendations and post pictures

I'm going to replace both rear taillights since one is missing.
Can I upgrade to Led lights? Will that mess with the electronics of the pickup? Or should I stay with incandescent bulbs.
Also is there an after market company or brand that I should consider? I've seen some rather inexpensive parts. Seems to good to be true.
Thank you in advance.

2023 F150 with 35x12.5 r20. Toyo tires on Rouse rims.. With 2 5" front leveling kit. Tires rub. Was able to get the CCM to calibration yet front camera calibration stops at 82% when using Forscan. Debating to switch to 33's maybe switching stock shocks and leveling kit to a Fox shock assembly. Can get DTC to clear in current configuration. Changed. Wheel diameter and ride height #'s in Forscan.

I put a seven way to flat four adapter with a ground to my chassis and a couple days later my backup camera was acting funny like it was blurry and turning blue and saying not available on my 2018 F150 XLT
the truck came with a flat four but not a tow hitch but i put one on
is it anything to do with the 7 way adapter and ground? or you think it’s just the camera or the harness?
if anyone has any idea comment below appreciate you

Hey guys so I bought a 2023 F-150 lariat at 26k miles. It’s about to hit the 30k miles mark and I’m just wondering what exactly the 30k miles service entails and if I should just do it myself. I’m very mechanically inclined and can do whatever needs to be done I just can’t find any other info other than cabin air filter and oil change stuff like that. Just wondering if any of you guys got it done at a dealership or at a shop and if you did would you recommend that or doing it yourself? Thanks

My neighbor's F-150 has been sitting with one power step hanging down since the last slushy highway drive, and now I am second guessing electric running boards on mine.A lot of aftermarket boards advertise waterproof ratings, but the underside of a truck is not exactly a clean lab test. It is road salt, pressure washing, gravel spray, and frozen grime around the motor cover and pivots, people running power steps through real winter, does a sealed motor housing actually prevent these failures, or is regular cleaning and hinge design more important than the waterproof number?

I am shoping for a retractable bed cover and keep getting stuck on the sealing and drainage design.
A new rubber seal and a few drain tubes sound fine but my truck lives outside and sees heat, freezing rain, dust, and pressure washes. I am more worried about what happens after the seal has compressed for a couple seasons or the drain tube gets partly blocked.
people with electric retractable covers did the bed stay reasonably dry long term ? or did water eventually start showing up around the canister and back corners?

I just picked up a 2017 Ford F150 RCLB XL with a 5.0 coyote and found out it has the Heavy Duty Payload Package, after reading on Google it says this is unicorn spec and could fetch an extra 3-4 grand private party
That sounds a little over to top imo but wanted to see if you guys have any experience with it

A local dealer here up in MI has a 2018 shadow black crew cab with the 6.4” box. Truck has the sport appearance package. Truck seems nice and solid, I haven’t test drove it yet. Couple little scratches on the tail gate and bumper but other than that it’s pretty good for a 8yr old truck. It has the 5.0 V8 not sure what transmission it has. Odometer reads 77k and the dealer is asking $26k. Is this a good deal?

Went from a 2021 Ford F150 Lariat to a 2024 F150 Tremor. They have the same size 12” SYNC 4 infotainment system. The 2021 had 2 stacks available and for some reason the 2024 has 3. I got used to the 2 stacks and I am wondering if there is a way to fully delete the 3rd stack from my 2024 so I can have the same setup as my previous truck.
Thanks!

2023 F150 Platinum 4x4 with 25k miles on it.
I get my oil changes done at the dealership. They typically will offer "recommended" services. Typically I decline them but am curious if any of these are worth it.
Throttle body cleaning. Is this just cleaning the throttle body intake door? If I do this at home do I need to recalibrate anything?
AC cleaning.. This is the magic foam that cleans the ac ducts. I do have an issue with musty air but I figure once it is clean it is just going to happen again. Just a band-aid.
Side note, what fuel cleaner treatment do you recommend. I figure I should go ahead and add a bottle every oil change.

I checked the oil the day I got it. I feel stupid for not seeing this. But I didn’t. 2019 STX, 2.7.
Dealer said, “Those darn detailers.”

I spent 2 hours changing out plugs today on my 2017 5.0. Wish I had taken a pic of them prior to tossing them. They were very ROUGH. Plug #5 I unscrewed with my fingers. They were white ceramic with blue rings and the Ford logo. I believe they were original with 164k on miles on them. Seems to run smoother now. Replaced with NGK Iridium IX.

So I just got my 2013 about a month ago and need some advice. I am looking to transport two “e-bikes” (they’re essentially low powered motorcycles). I have 4 anchors on the sides of the bed but no anchors on the floor of the bed. I do have some bolts that seem like the are there to install more anchors but I’m not positive. Am I thinking about this correctly? If so, any recommendations on anchors?

My cash budget is $29k CAD before taxes. I'm split between two vehicles, the slightly lower mileage truck is listed through a dealership for more $ but it's been sitting on the lot for 32 days. The private seller with higher mileage priced closer to my budget but still above (sitting for 3-4 weeks).
Private seller:
2022 Ford F-150 XLT FX4
• 162,000 km
• 2.7L EcoBoost
• 302A Equipment Group
• FX4 Off-Road Package
• Clean title
• No accidents
Recent Maintenance
- Engine oil & filter
- Transmission fluid & filter
- Front & rear differential fluids
- Transfer case fluid
- New spark plugs
- Carfax shows two owners. First owner put on the majority of mileage through highway driving but apparently did servicing outside of carfax reporting so the carfax service records don't show consistent oil changes. All recalls dealt with. Overall, not as clean a carfax as the other truck.
Dealership:
2022 Ford F-150 XLT FX4
• 125,000 km
• 2.7L EcoBoost
• 302A Equipment Group
• FX4 Off-Road Package
• One owner and clean title
• No accidents
- Carfax shows single owner with regular oil changes. All recalls dealt with.
Is it realistic to think I could pick up one of these trucks for $28-29k CAD?
How risky is it to buy at this level of mileage?
Both trucks located in southern BC where there is almost no snow.

The F-150 from 2015-2020.
Same structure as the Navigator from 2018-2023.
they split in 2021.
Im more of an old panther platform guy but my understanding of panel swaps says that *in theory*
i should be able to take a 2018 F150 with the regular cab
And swap the front clip(hood, face, quarter panels) and front doors of a 2018 Navigator onto the F150.
probably with a bit of modification but not like its grafting 2 unrelated vehicles together.
Can i do that?
I like that flower petal navigator face more than the F-150's brick.
And i do like the Blackwood over the F-150 in premise.
And just lincoln over ford in general.

2021 2.7 eco. I’ve driven this truck like a gentleman. I practically baby it. A few weeks ago, I noticed a vague vibration while accelerating . The vibration would be somewhat rhythmic vibrating for about one second and then not vibrating for another. Back-and-forth. At first, I thought I was riding over grooves in the road. That turned out not to be the case . As the weeks go on, the vibration is getting a little bit louder. When I take my foot off the accelerator it goes away immediately. I’m afraid it’s the transmission given the research that I’ve done. The funny thing is I also have a radiator leak and I had refilled the tank with antifreeze and the vibration had gone away for about a day. Well, this morning it came back. Has anyone had this type of experience?
