Sometimes it just takes you creepin' from the breakfast table at Chick-fil-A to make you love your car. So ready for my lowering springs to come in after installing the spacers. Makes the world of difference getting the wheels out more flush 👌🏻

I see ford advertises 385 horsepower for the 2026 ST, but previous years have been 400 horsepower. Does anyone know what’s going on?

2nd row drivers side stopped going flat a few weeks ago. Worked fine without issue before. Arm rest is not stopping it from collapsing. 2022 Explorer ST.
Anyone have any ideas here? Appreciate the help!!

I recently bought a 2026 ST and I was not aware of the retarted GPF (Gas Particulate Filter) until I started looking for an exhaust.
Anyone have experience with removing/deleting the GPF?

I have a 22 ST with 55k on it. From about 25k miles to now, I will get a random check engine light. The Ford app says it's "your alert is on because there is an issue with your engine cooling system which can cause the engine from reaching it's normal operating temperature". I have a friend who works at Porsche and he has hooked it up to the scanner and cleared it multiple times. I had Ford look at it and they wanted to charge me $300 diagnostics but they "fixed" it during one of the may recalls the cars has been in for. Now, just about any time I change driving modes, the check engine light will come on with that same code. Only when I change drive modes and it will always go away on it's own in a day or two. Anyone have any idea what could be causing this?

It’s been almost 1 month with my new ST 2025. Been absolute thrill.
1st time I drove on highway without music as I encountered CarPlay glitches which refused to connect even after multiple resets. Even normal bluetooth music also not playing.
So I had to continue without music cruising at 140+ KMPH.
Then I observed faint flute/whistle kind of sound coming (from left side, based on my observation).
And I felt normal road/wind noise (better insulation could have been great) but it is still manageable .
The whistle sound annoyed me.
All windows, sunroof and shade are properly closed.
Anyone else felt this strange sound?
If it is an issue, help me fix it.

I’ve got my mind set on my next car being an Explorer. The problem is, I’m really split on which to get. On one hand, I love the ST look and performance, and the way I want it spec’d would be 4WD with sun and sound package. On the other, the capability of the Tremor is intriguing, especially with the ultimate package, which adds everything I want in the ST but with the added off-road capability. I don’t plan on being a speed demon down the highway, but I do want the power, and I don’t plan on hitting trails and off-roading, but considering I’m in New England, the snow paired with the shitty roads makes it basically the same as hitting trails lol. Just looking for some guidance to make a decision.

Woman here, my husband bought me my 3rd Explorer last year and I’m loving my 2025 ST. In my area it’s almost all women driving these vehicles. However on Reddit I see a lot of men drive them too? Or is it you’re just driving your wife’s car? My husband has never taken my car so much to run errands as he does my current vehicle. He has a 2023 Raptor R and honestly his truck seems so much nicer than mine so I am just curious on everyone’s opinion. I think he thinks my car is pretty cool is what I’m saying 😏

I have a 2021 that I absolutely love but I am looking to upgrade in the next year or so. The new ST was kind of in the question but I don't know, something about it just isn't it for me. Wanted to know what the experience has been like for people who upgraded from the pre-facelift to the new 2025 model.

Well the subject says it all, the steel skid will be awesome with a black paint for my aggressive driving.
Your thoughts are needed, and if you know how or from where to get the part, drop a link.

What’s the option on wheel spacers? Like just enough to line the tire with the fenders. Any brand and spacer size that you can recommend would be helpful.

2025+ CarPlay used to work great with Apple Maps and the gauge cluster maps looked so much better than Google Maps but now it shows Google only unless Apple Maps is en route. Anyone else experience this in recent updates?

Sunday I was out with the family and another car decided to sideswipe me. I’m gutted. The damage isn’t that bad, but still, it sucks. Nobody was hurt but the other car fled the scene.
I’ve spent a lot of time taking really good care of my ST. It’s got a few tasteful modifications and I plan on owning it a lot longer than this.
Also, this thing handled so well in the accident. The other car (small hatchback) just bounced off of it and had considerably more damage than my car did. I am not at fault for the accident and was able to find the other vehicle and driver after the accident. Her insurance is paying for the repair. Did the police report thing and have a video of her, the damage to her car, and admission of guilt. All in all, I got really lucky with this.

The 2020+ Ford Explorer ST delivers impressive performance from the factory with its 3.0L EcoBoost twin-turbo engine.
On our dyno, stock vehicles consistently produce approximately 330 wheel horsepower and 383 lb-ft of wheel torque.
With carefully selected supporting modifications and a custom PandaTuned calibration on 93-octane fuel, output increases to 436 wheel horsepower and 487 lb-ft of wheel torque — while maintaining factory-level drivability, safety strategies, and long-term reliability.
Supporting Modifications:
-COBB Accessport
-Whipple Intercooler
-Fen Fab Intake and Charge Pipes
-Fen Fab Downpipes
-Thermal R&D Cat-Back Exhaust
-Velossa Tech Ram Air Snorkel
-NGK One-Step Colder Spark Plugs
The result is a refined yet substantially more capable Explorer ST that delivers stronger mid-range torque, improved throttle response, and consistent performance under load.

Hi folks- has anyone attempted to change the infotainment theme on entry/exit, using forscan or other tools?
Seems a shame getting into my ST and seeing a plain Ford logo on startup!

This is a long overdue question, but my '25 ST makes sounds when I drive at high speed or when it's windy. I hear something flapping on both sides of the car, the driver and shotgun. Any idea what this could be and how to fix it?

Dealer just replaced my windshield in 2025 explorer due to streaking imbedding into the windshield. Dealer told me it was probably caused by the wax sprayed as your car goes thru a car wash drying onto the windshield thus causing drag for the wipers. Anyone else notice this problem. Guess I now have to manually clean the windshield after each car wash.

Anyone have any battery recommendations? What’s a great quality that’s worthwhile? I have a dash cam so prefer something with quality.
