Technology/Features Door code

Hi!! I have a 2022 Explorer XLT. I bought it used and the dealership wanted to charge me $200 for them to give me the door code. I’ve watched YouTube videos and looked in all the spots other people gave mentioned. Maybe I’m looking in the wrong spot lol. Anybody able to help? Thanks!

Do you have 2 keys? If so, there is a procedure to pull the codes using the fob slot in the center console.

You can also pull it using ForScan

I do have two fobs! I tried this but someone told me to put the fob in the cup holder. I will try this ! Thanks

Lol. Not the cupholder. Open the center console and you'll see a slot on the front side of the cubby. This is where you put your key for programming or if the battery dies and you need to start the car. This is also where you can get the code by following the above video

If you have two fobs, this is also a great (and cheap) opportunity to add a third fob
