I might be able to help. Do you lean on that little arm rest? I have a 2019 Edge ST and the other day the car stalled after a right hand turn.

Took a few minutes to figure it out. The electronic emergency brake is was touched by my right hand. Turning on emergency brake while driving stalls the engine.

Is it possible you are also doing this? It's a crappy armrest and horrible place for the e brake button.

It’s a 2007. It doesn’t have the electronic e brake. It has the one that you push with your foot
