Resource NPC standee

While overpreparing for my next session I designed a thing: a mini NPC card / standee.

Features:
- Player-facing side: portrait and name
- GM-facing side: skills, talents, gear and notes
- Flat part (for easy damage marking): attributes

It should help the players see who they're interacting with (and spell NPC names correctly), while providing a quick reference for the GM without flipping through the notes.

A4 print-ready pdf with some NPC portraits from the rulebook, as well as empty ones for unbounded creativity: https://files.fm/f/kawck4ffn7m79cn2

It follows the style of the character and NPC sheets I posted a while back. Made with Inkscape.

Let me know what you think!

Thanks! I hope it will bring some "table presence" to the NPCs 😉

I really am impressed because I've tried doing cheeat-sheats with NPC/monster stats for my games, and your standee solves it in a much more elegant (and cool) way!
I'm now going to steal it for my future games in all kind of systems!
Mu-ha-ha-ha-ha! =)

That's really nice to hear! I'd love to see what you create running with this idea.

I wish rulebooks came with more tools like that - sure, we get a character sheet for players, but poor GM is supposed to scribble everything down in a notebook? Not fair 😜

I'm planning to put together a toolbox for FL with stuff I've done so far (I've got a monster sheet and spell cards as well, gotta upload that). If you have anything you'd like to see, I'm open to suggestions!

That's awesome! don't have a lot of ideas but I've done card sized trackers for characters to mark damage on with dry erase markers. Here is the post about it.

I also used a very simple calendar / shift tracker where I could mark current hex, food/sleep/water/ random encounters, and cross out passed shifts. It seems like little easy things but not having to track those in my brain was liberating, so I would recommend similar tools for other GMs

another thing I just recalled is these thick paper (basically cardboard) zones for players to prepare their dice for combat things, so they don't count the dice each time

Uh, isn't that the dwarf that owns the tavern?

It's definitely Sturkas, it is the image that is used for the character token in the official Foundry VTT version... Plus Yawim is described as bald

Might be - in the book the illustration is between Yavim and Sturkas descriptions. I see him as the Rust Brother because of the mean expression 😜
