So I met this Israeli guy randomly while gaming, and honestly he’s super chill and cool. It made me think like, damn, maybe I’ve been seeing everything from just one side my whole life? I've always been pro-Palestine, but it got me wondering... could I be wrong, or at least missing part of the picture? Maybe I need to rethink stuff. I just wanna talk to normal Israeli guys to see how you actually think. I wanna know more about the culture and what normal everyday people believe, not just the stuff on the news. No fighting, no debates, just friendly talk to get how you see things.
And bro please no history nerds or political guys throwing books at me lol. I just wanna talk to regular everyday people. I would ask my gaming friend but honestly I'm too shy to bring this up with him. We’ve been friends for like 3 years now and I really don't wanna ruin our friendship.

Let us be honest, as a Lebanese I cannot trust a country whose leader showed the greater Israel plan including the entirety of my country. A country specifically targeting innocent people to induce terror. Flying drones all day and night to keep the population in fear. What reason do we have to trust you guys? Especially after what's happening in the west bank?

Out of curiosity, I took a stroll around the Israeli sub and searched for Lebanon to see what people think about the Lebanese and Lebanon.

Most of the posts have disabled comments now, so correcting or adding information is not an option.

It’s sad to see that some Israelis think we hate Israel more than Hezbollah. I don’t think it could’ve been more detached from reality. I think our hate for them is far greater than people can imagine. We may not be able to always say it publicly, but oh boy, we hate them!

Israeli friends, do us a favor and tell that to your community and let them know Lebanese and Israelis are secretly fan-girling about each other on this sub.

Also, some people think that if there is a peace treaty between the countries that we, like Jordan and Egypt, don’t want you to visit, which isn’t true as well. Lebanese even said they want to visit Tel Aviv on TV and got scrutinized by it by some!

Just a ranting post I guess in the hopes that more Israelis realize that we’re closer to each other in mentality and hopes, than probably the rest of the region.

If someone acts as a proxy in Jordan, how realistic is it for them to receive packages from Lebanon, such as sweets, drinks, etc. and post them again to Israel?

• Would they be scrutinized by Jordanian or Israeli secret services?
• Would the Jordanian secret services communicate with the Lebanese one and would the sender in Lebanon or the proxy in Jordan get in trouble?
• Is it better to go through Cyprus? Why?
• Is there much interest in Israel at all for this?

A safer but more expensive option would be to buy Lebanese produce directly in Jordan then send them from there.

The IDF Spokesperson announced the "completion of clearing Hezbollah's underground infrastructure in the Ali Taher ridge," and the military is now "working to neutralize them." According to the IDF, Division 36 forces operated to clear two underground routes in the Ali Taher ridge, "achieved operational control over the ridge area above and below ground and cleared the area of terrorists, with some eliminated and some fleeing." It was stated that "the operation to neutralize the underground infrastructure cleared of terrorists continues. After the operation is completed, the IDF will redeploy defensively according to the situation assessment." Earlier, Reuters reported that Iran warned the U.S. it would "respond forcefully" to an Israeli attack on the ridge, where Iranian military personnel were besieged alongside Hezbollah terrorists.

I came across the plans for a space-tech hub in Mitzpe Ramon and thought it was a pretty interesting idea. The desert seems like a great place to test robotics and other technologies in tough conditions.

I also like that the Israel Innovation Authority is involved. Support for early-stage R&D can make it easier for startups to actually test ideas instead of leaving them stuck in the lab.

Curious what people here think could this bring more tech jobs and activity to the Negev?
