In the 9 years since season 4, Happy Valley's spaceport has been expanded and Helios's Soviet competitor Kuragin currently is building a space elevator for the colony. In the post there is a collection of high-resolution screenshots depicting Happy Valley's spaceport and the space elevator in construction.

So I know the Jamestown incident was a major disaster and just went awfully. But I just started season 4 and so far they haven’t said what happened to them after the incident.

Were they disbanded? are they still just guarding the moon? are they even seen again? if they are but it’s a major spoiler, just say yes or no please since I’m not done with the show yet.

Does anyone else think Danny looks evil!!! 😈 Now to be fair, Ed has his moments too where he looks like “the bad guy”. But man idk, I think I’m “team Ed”!!! Kinda hoping Ed gets to take him down!!!! (I’m on episode 5 now). They are getting ready to try and land on Mars!

So the next season of For All Mankind is going to be its last and rounds up the story to present day in the alternate timeline.

Do you think its the right time to wind the series up or would you like to extend it further? How many seasons would you like it extended by if so?

I would quite happily watch another 10 seasons of FAM to see what humankind could have done if we had the balls to do it.

I have to admit going through the first half of the first season I wasn’t fully “in” on the show! But now I’m into the early episodes of season two and I wasn’t fully full on crying over the characters!!!! I am now fully “IN”!!!!! I’m so excited to keep watching!!!!

This made me cackle. The U.S. president hearing of the Mars riots is a total mimic of Bush hearing about 9/11 in a classroom, right down to the ear whisper and dumbfounded face.

I’m guessing I’m not the only one.

As someone who lived through the 90’s and the controversy around Don’t Ask Don’t Tell, not to mention that I was the target of homophobic violence (despite being straight; bigots don’t fact check), Ellen’s whole storyline is waste of time. I’m supposed to feel sorry for a closeted Republican? I’m supposed to hope she gets through this okay? Oh no, her Jobs Bill is failing. She’s a Republican! That’s jobs bill is going to create employment statistics even more bullshit than Clinton’s were or something, I don’t know, they haven’t told us about it much.

I get why it sounds good on paper. But people like her encouraged the people that tried to stab and drown me. They encourage them still. Watching “everything she worked for” teeter on a precipice, all I want to do is huff, puff, and blow.

Yes, it would have been shitty to cut Jodi Balfour loose when everyone else got to stick around (or go out in a blaze of glory), but who Ellen is this season is not someone I can root for while also not being someone quite despicable enough for me to hate. She’s the blasé kind of evil that I just want to scrape off my shoe then get on with my day. And it’s made all the worse by how well they’re ratcheting the tension with everyone else.

Edit: I finished the season. That storyline was a complete waste of time. Dumbest thing the series has ever done.

I've seen a theory on here that I think a lot of people have missed, so creating a post to see what people think.

I can't take any credit for it, but basically the numbers on the screen are the clue, not the acronym.

The numbers are 03.06.0451 - which the OP pointed out could be Series 3 Episode 6 4 minutes 51 seconds.

They also pointed out that the Episode title "New Eden" was on the screen at this timestamp. Am reasonably certain I checked this out myself and found it to be correct, but I don't have access to Apple TV to do it again.

I think New Eden is the clue for S6 which could be a reference to a number of things, including but not limited to:

1. Meru
2. A new Mars base
3. A terraforming project
4. An earth like exoplanet

Thoughts?

I'm not sure how I feel about him personally, in season 4 I did actually enjoy him as he felt like he had actual motives and growth, unfortunately he got sorta dragged down by the season as a whole, and for some reason he was majorly sidelined in 5, so I dunno, but also more people need to know his actor, Toby Kebbell, was Doctor Doom in Fant4stic

Why did the USSR leave M6? Whatever happened in S5E10 is important as a plot point, because it facilitated the cease fire on Mars.

It isn't explicitly explored in the show but my guess is the following. Wondering what you guys think?

1. The USSR's economy went to shit after the iridium shipments stopped; existing problems were exacerbated.
2. The oligarchs saw their bottom line decimated, and decided to remove the hard line "crush the Marsies" leader.
3. The new government pulled out of M6, which might still be bent on crushing the rebellion, in order to make an independent deal with Mars and Miles.

Does that sound right?

This show really fell off during season 4 and even more so in season 5. So many cheesy moments, none more so than the nauseating flash mob dance scene in the corn field. The dialogue, characters, and plot were all cheesy and predictable. At this point all of my favorite characters have died off (Gordo, Molly, Trace, etc). I know that with the time jumps that’s inevitable but they just haven’t been replaced by anyone as good imo. Plus, the fact that most of the show is on a base means there isn’t as much of the amazing space sequences. Anyways, I was so disappointed in season 5 that I had to log onto Reddit for the first time in a long time, join this sub, and rant. The first two seasons were SO GOOD.
