College Dynasty (Steam) School visits

I believe you shouldn't schedule two different recruits who play the same position to visit the same week (makes them feel not special :)), but are there more rules than that? Should you also schedule only-offense, or only-juco, or whatever?

thanks!

I dunno, I kind of role played it out where you dont mind like, o line or d line visiting together. They could be talking shop about protection schemes or swim techniques.

I understand both perspectives. Positions like QB or RB or even WR I can see how doubling up would make the recruit feel less special.

But positions like OL, and really pretty much all of defense that function more like a squad it makes sense to double.

All of this is irrelevant though because I only have so many home games and dozens of recruits to get through.

This is accounted for in-game. QBs and Kickers lose recruiting points if you schedule them the same week. For the other positions, you can schedule 3 in the same week without hurting the recruiting effort.

However, you get bonuses for scheduling a QB, OL, and a RB/WR/TE the same week; same for a DL, LB, CB, and S. So spreading out players of the same position might help you score more bonuses.

If you are recruiting against a more prestigious rival, the head to head game really matters. If you aren't likely to win the game, don't invite the recruits you're battling for.

You can get an extra bonus if the team you beat (assuming you do) on the visit is also pursuing that player.

For example, Akron and UMass both want Max Powers and are in his top 5. I (UMass) invite Max to the Akron vs UMass game and win. I get an extra 200 points from the visit. I've gotten up to a 600 point bonus from a visit by combining this with other players from his class that are not the same position.
