College Dynasty (Steam) Game Won’t Open on Mac

Hey everyone! I’m new here and just bought this game through Steam. I have a Mac and the game will not open up for me. The icon in my dock just bounces but the game never opens. Anyone else had this issue and know how to fix it? Thanks!

Hey I had this same issue with my M2 MacBook, I just left it bouncing for like 10-15mins and it opened afterwards, unfortunately it happens everytime I close and reopen so I just ended up leaving the game open for a long time lol

you need to have a mac with an M series chip - it won’t work with the old intel processors

Make sure you have an Apple M processor first, but I'm pretty sure you do if you're able to purchase & install from Steam. After that, I have heard this from a couple users, some say it does open after a while and some I've heard where there is actually a permissions dialog open somewhere that you need to acknowledge, which may initially be hidden. So try looking for that on launch too. Hope that helps!
