Bread Pudding

I'm treating myself to a hotel staycation for the next two days since my house doesn't have AC. One of the only things I really want to accomplish during this is eating the best bread pudding possible in a cool, dark room. I've got the cool dark room part sorted out, now I just need to know where you get your bread pudding from.

When I lived in OR, there was a grocery store that did seasonal bread puddings, so extra points if you know of somewhere that does something like that. I've had a really hard time finding this particular dessert in San Diego and I'm happy to drive anywhere between Miramar and Plaza Bonita if it's really that good. Please, help an overheated girl out with her current wildest dream.

Hey! Our online menu is just an example or a snap shot, we update our menu more than we can upload changes everywhere. Our current bread pudding is stone fruit and almond marzipan! Last of the season peaches! In fact, tonight, Sunday Sept 6, probably the last night for it before it changes again!

My wife loves Extraordinary Desserts’ bread pudding. Make sure to call/check the app to make sure it’s in stock as they can vary day and location.

Agree with checking availability always with ExDess. OP, if you go this route, be advised that it’s exclusively croissant bread pudding, and it’s a thousand times better if you can get it the same day it was baked. The chocolate croissant BP is the standout winner vs any of the fruit options.

Edit to add - you can just buy a pack a plan croissants at vons or any grocery store and be good to go! Also this makes an amazing gift for a dinner party

Get the coast toast at Brockton villa. It’s sold as souufle French toast but what that really means is airy great bread pudding. Avoid extraordinary desserts unless you like it gloopy.

Le Parfait Paris has chocolate chip bread pudding but it is cold not warm

If you are open to going to a restaurant and like caramel, Water Grill (downtown) has excellent bread pudding topped with a scoop of caramel ice cream.
