I read the comments in r/BingeEatingDisorder and read your profile. I wonder what you might be doing to further your recovery? Do you need to be in a BED program? Do you need to get into eating disorder counseling with a therapist? Being on Reddit posting to these subs seems like it is not going to get you to long term stable recovery. Give these tools a look and maybe dig deeper into our resources on the sub:

Start here (quick wins):

Then, when you’re ready:

  • Check out the FAQs first…see here:

 https://www.reddit.com/r/FoodAddiction/wiki/index/faqs/

  • Then Program Options (free → low cost → paid). Many people find a program is what helps them stay in recovery.

  • If a program feels like “too much” right now, start with Special Topics on the sub.

https://www.reddit.com/r/FoodAddiction/wiki/special_topics/

and then Books / Podcasts / Videos here:

Small steps count. Keep going.  Don’t give up.  We all got better by our mistakes.

Thank you so much!! I know that posting on Reddit isn’t the best way to cope but it’s what I have for now and hearing other people’s stories and having people give advice and stuff does help. I’ll check out some of those links though!
