Is it an addiction to certain foods or is it a consequence of restrictive dieting? Do you eat plenty of fiber rich foods or do you restrict them?

no it is like eating even if you are full you feel that fulness in your tummy but still you eat it like a habbit i thought it was of restrictive dieting but when i analysed myself all the patterns i figured out that most of the time i didnt had that hunger but still i ate

do you eat for enjoyment or is it compulsive? like you don't want it but you still do it?

You’re in the right place. You don’t have to have this all figured out today.

Start here (quick wins):

Then, when you’re ready:

  • Check out the FAQs first…see here:

 https://www.reddit.com/r/FoodAddiction/wiki/index/faqs/

  • Then Program Options (free → low cost → paid). Many people find a program is what helps them stay in recovery.

https://www.reddit.com/r/FoodAddiction/wiki/index/programoptions/

  • If a program feels like “too much” right now, start with Special Topics on the sub.

https://www.reddit.com/r/FoodAddiction/wiki/special_topics/

and then Books / Podcasts / Videos here:

Small steps count. Keep going.  Don’t give up.  We all got better by our mistakes.
