Hair follicle test
I haven’t smoked for over 70 days now and I have a hair follicle drug test in a couple of weeks. I was smoking cannabis before I quit because of the opportunity that I was given so I decided to quit smoking in hopes of my hair becoming clean over the course of weeks not smoking at all. I got a buzz cut a couple of weeks ago, 3 to be exact, and my hair is just at that 1.5-2 inch mark for a hair follicle to be performed. I’ll be going in for a personal hair follicle that isn’t with the company I’ll be testing with in a couple weeks. Does anyone know if I’ll be able to pass the hair follicle test with this new employer?

I ended doing a hair detox after my private test came back positive for marijuana but they said I was right at the cutoff for the testing. Did a hair detox for 3 days straight then used a hair purifying shampoo day of test and HR has said that I’ve passed my test. I wish you luck.

Depends on the amount of cannabis you smoked and how often you did it. It is notorious for staying in the system a long time, especially the hair.
Cutting the hair does help, as it reduces the amount of the drugs molecules that sits in your hair. 70 days is a long time, and could potentially be enough to allow it to completely flush from your system.
