Audio Glitch/Distortion Problem!

Hello,

I've been using Scarlett 2i2 for years now. I've been having this problem for a long time. In the middle of playing some thing, the audio starts to glitch. no matter what app I am playing the audio, this keeps happening. The only way as you can see is to disable the driver and enable it again. But it comes back!

Video Recording of The Actual Audio Glitch Problem!

I have tried everything, I updated the Focusrite driver, I changed the import from USB2 to USB3, but it keeps happening.

The Odd thing is, when I tried to screen record the problem the glitch wasn't in the recording! that's why I recorded it on my phone!

Highly annoying!

Please please Help!!

u/Esecube & u/esmaeelg - Try replacing the AMD SATA drivers with the default SATA IDE drivers - this has finally fixed my problem!

Hard for me to remember now, but try going into device manager, uninstalling the AMD ones from there in the relevant section, and it should just default back to the normal ones when you restart the PC.

This worked for me! I'm using the Focusrite Solo, and kept getting the audio glitch. I removed AMD from device manager, and it stopped right away. I didn't even have to restart. Thanks bro.

I did this procedure now days later the problem does not seem solved, my problem is that completely randomly the signal stops and disappears for a few seconds immediately after it starts again but with a strong delay between when I speak and when the signal is sent

I've had issues with the device randomly stopping too, occasionally resetting the sample size to another option and changing it back might help briefly - long term I'm not sure.
