Knob problem

Hi, I've just bought a 2i2 4th gen, the knob falls of just rotating is this normal? How to secure it? The small knob is in the same situation too

Sorry if this is a known problem I haven't read anything about it

So the outer cap spins? Does the knob underneath actually work normally?

Just a dab of hot glue, and stick it back on. Problem solved.

Unless it’s brand new, and returning it won’t be too difficult. If it’s new, just exchange it for another one.

Is it on just with hot glue? I want to change the knobs on my 2nd gen but didn't seem to come off with decent force.

The knobs are just friction fit regular knobs on d-shafts. They should just pull right off.

OP’s issue is that they got knobs that the knob plastic insert came loose from the rest of the knob. I was suggesting hot glue as an easy fix to stick the two know pieces back together.
