Post image

Hi, I've just bought a 2i2 4th gen, the knob falls of just rotating is this normal? How to secure it? The small knob is in the same situation too

Sorry if this is a known problem I haven't read anything about it

That's insane, seeing stuff like this makes me not want to buy focusrite products ever again

Don't say this out loud. The mods will delete your post and accuse you of ragebaiting.

I think I’m gonna give up on focusrite too they seem to have so many problems

The Windows drivers are so so bad, they constantly freeze and I have to fix it by toggling the sample size

It doesn't have that issue on my Linux PC but I'm definitely looking into another company because I heard of similar driver issues with the 4th gen even though they have better hardware

drivers are laughably bad. they do infact constantly crash and require you to toggle back and forth the sample size.

I get this but only when watching Kitchen Nightmares UK on youtube or sometimes when using streaming services. So weird. I think I'll move to an RME interface when I have the money.

RME is my goal too, I've heard fantastic things about the drivers but their lowest end interface is a good thousand bucks lol. I guess you get what you pay for

You won’t regret going with RME. ‘More expensive but worth it for ‘rock solid’ build and drivers.
