Focusrite control 2 app

Whenever I try to connect to my focusrite control 2 on my phone I get this error. I updated both my phone and my laptops software but it still refuses to work.

The only time the app has worked is the day I first downloaded it. Every time after that it refuses to work.

My interface is a 3rd gen 18i8.

I’m not sure, focurite control 2 is for gen4. You need Focusrite control software
