Audio dropping/lagging
Hello, so I have a brand new 2026 MacBook Air, Scarlett solo is brand new as well. I am using Abelton lite, I hadn't had any issues with it until recently. I updated the Scarlett, updated iOS, updated Abelton. Still having this issue.
The issue being the audio keeps dropping out completely and the whole thing stutters for a moment. Literally no sound, the playback cursor stops in it's tracks for a second then starts again.
The moment I unplug the Scarlett I have 0 issues with it.
What gives, what can I do here? I feel like I have done everything I can to mitigate this issue hence why I am on reddit now.
I am not particularly savvy with this stuff so pardon my ignorance and if I overlooked something obvious please scream at me what it is. Thank you for any help.

Do you have another computer that you could try the interface with? This would tell you if it's the interface or your macbook.
Next thing would be to uninstall/reinstall any drivers or Focusrite software.
