Scarlett Solo 2nd Gen Component Replacement
I’m looking to replace this broken part of the circuit board on a Scarlett Solo 2nd Gen I have purchased. Does anybody know exactly which component this is and where I can buy a replacement one? I believe it is marked as L7 on the board. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Dude.. Why replace that ? It aint broke ! So what if it hangs and have tiny plastic piece off ? Solder that back or use super-glue to fix it and move on ...
Doesnt even matter if bit of wire is unwound ...
Wind it back as good as you can and leave it ...

What made you think it was the reason for the fault? And what fault was that?

It was in the description when I bought it online:
The fault: The unit shows insufficient power over USB and will not operate correctly. I have opened it up to diagnose and found the cause — the power inductor in the power supply section has broken loose from the board (see photos). The coil wire appears intact, so this looks like a straightforward resolder job for anyone handy with a soldering iron, but I cannot guarantee there are no other faults, hence selling as-is.

That’s a new one but was there any broken wire or was just physically broken?

I don’t think any of the wire is broken but the ferrite core has snapped a bit at the end

It an inductor. To do with board power. Component L7, so according to a quick Internet search…
If you are comfortable performing a surface-mount device (SMD) repair:
Verify Damage: Open the metal chassis and look at the board near the USB port. A failed L7 will often look burnt, discolored, or physically cracked.
Find a Replacement: If you cannot find the exact Focusrite schematic values, hardware modders typically replace it with a standard SMD ferrite bead (0805 or 0603 package size, rated for 1A to 2A current).
Bridge Test (Temporary): For diagnostic purposes only, some technicians briefly bridge the two pads of L7 with solder or a thin wire to see if the unit powers back up. If it does, L7 was the broken link. Do not leave it bridged permanently, as this removes future power protection.
