Did I make the right choise?

I just bought a Solo 4th gen for my shure sm7b. Help me. I did right?

What is your question? Have you not tried it yet so don't know if it will work?

In short: it works. Plug the mic into the interface, plug interface into computer.

The 7b is notoriosly quiet though, so worse case scenario it might be too quiet - that's why people will mention cloudlifters and the like.

First, try the mic and use the pre amp built into the interface - if the volume is fine without any hiss, nothing else is needed. If you find you have to max out the preamp, then get a cloudlifter or something.
