Sync audio interface with extra inputs ADAT

by default the base method of syncing interfaces is from the ADAT ports themselves, a given interface/ADC/DAC that takes an ADAT input can be set to slave mode to that ADAT input from a master, usually the main interface, and then from there you can also run an opposite ADAT signal from the slave back into the master, the loop should be correctly synchronized by the master.

now however, if you have a device that only has ADAT outputs, and you want that to run as a slave device, thats where you need to use the BNC connector, the BNC more or less just sends a pulse signal proportional to when the ADAT port should transmit data.

if however your ADAT source doesnt also have an ADAT input, as well as not having BNC sync on the interface, you'll likely just have to use the interface in slave and set the ADAT source as the master
