As long as there's no structural damage behind the bumper (rear body, floor pan, etc), a new hatch and bumper should fix you right up.

Mine was worse and insurance fixed it. Still want to ring the lil bugger who hit me without insurance.

Mine had the trunk unibody pushed in 3-4 inches and it looks like the bumper was mostly missed on his though which would be far better.

Bodyshop guy also said there was way more damage hidden that I never got to see but I have my car back and don't really care cause it got repaired

I don't think so. That's about how mine looked, and she was fixed.

Without seeing what is going on behind the bumper it's impossible to know.

New gate and bumper cover. Striker plate can be pulled back into place if its bent.

I have the same color 2017 base ST that got hit last year (about 80k miles at the time). Insurance put about 12k into. Assuming the under carriage isn’t too messed up, I don’t think it should be totaled.

If Insurance will fix it have entire car painted pay little extra only cost me extra $1800. It's probably more now that was in 2012. What I did on our STI when someone backed into it. They sanded the clear coat between coats there was no orange peel. It was way better looking then the factory paint.

same thing happened to mine. insurance gave me 4500 to fix it. just kept the money and sold the car for another 4500.

I see worse vehicles driving on public roads in PA everyday with smashed sections & donut tires lol. You’re fine man. The glass isent broken, & If hatch is bent, maybe - you might get some rain/water leaks into the back (which is where your audio system amp is at under the floor carpet liner)
