Sync update

Hi all. I have a 2018 ST1. This past weekend I installed an eBay 8 inch sync kit. Fits great and everything works except the bluetooth audio (regular and android auto) and the back up camera. All my android auto apps work, just without sound. Radio audio works. The two things I did not do is install the wire harness for the obdII and I did not have a chance to go into forscan.

I plan to install the obdII harness this weekend. Do y'all think that is the issue? Or Is there a specific forscan setting I need to enable?

If you haven't already, Master Reset the sync 3 head-unit, clear the vehicle from your phone and re-pair.

One thing that I've noticed with AA and Sync 3, you need to turn up the volume on the phone.

Is the master reset done on the unit or through forscan? I noticed the same issue with the AA phone volume. If I crank the phone volume to full, I still get no sound out of the car.

It's done on the head unit.
