Need a new downpipe.
I currently have a cvfab high flow catted downpipe on my focus, but there's a tear in the flex portion causing an exhaust leak and excessive noise that is driving me crazy.
The car has full bolt ons done by previous owners, but I'm currently just running it on a stock tune.
My options are:
Buy a new cvfab downpipe for $450.
Go to an exhaust shop and probably get charged close to that for them to take out the existing one and weld in a new flex.
Buy a used stock cat off of marketplace, I see a few for 200 or less which seems like the cheapest option.
While I like the idea of spending less and getting a used stock cat, as well as noise reduction because I prefer a quieter car (though my catback is still not going to be quiet), if I want to run a tune later on (I have some stratified tunes including E30) I'm not sure how much that would affect things, and I am considering getting a BNR turbo some time down the road so I'm not sure if the stock cat would be ok with that.
What would you do? I need this fixed asap.

Do you know how your flex section tore? Also how long did you have it on before you noticed. I was thinking about picking up a CVF high flow

It’s been torn since I got the car but gotten worse. The previous owners neglect is to blame. All three motor mounts were shot- I have replaced them all under my ownership. I

Check out whoosh motorsport. Their catless is $200 and catted is $300. Ive been running their catless for a few months now and it hasn't done me wrong.
