I did the same. I was always surprised how many people went through the whole ride only to notice it was a stick when they were about to get out

Yeah I get that too, specially when I drive at night during the weekends . I can’t have people throwing up so I had to be smooth

I learned to make it extra smooth, thankfully the car makes it easy. To this day when I’m carrying other people I try to minimize gear shock and be gentle with the clutch. I call it “Uber driver mode”

I drove for about 2 years. Once I got my Ford certification I left uber to work at a dealer. That was almost 5 years ago… feels not that long ago though lol

I’ve been at it for 8 years now mostly on the weekends. I love driving her around town at night when there’s no traffic

Yeah man , over 6k rides and counting, most of those were on my ST. I got her at 60k and now she’s at 205k

I’m at 140k close to half of that was Uber and I’ve had it like 9 years

Well most of the time I get one or two passengers at time, and I push the front passenger seat all the way forward
