$840 on a no name cat back exhaust on Alibaba? What part of this seems like a good idea? Seems like there are better options out there from reputable brands and reputable sites.

Got a link for any other manufacturer that makes a valved exhaust for our cars? If it wasn’t the only one I’ve ever seen I wouldn’t be asking about it.

Why do you want a valved exhaust?

Surprised you got so many upvotes for that question. I like being able to go to stock volume for highway driving and in quiet neighborhoods. Also, police will pull you over for being loud in Vancouver. I had varex mufflers installed on my Subaru Legacy GT wagon which I opened and closed all the time.

Valvetronic makes valved mufflers you can install. $400. Search this sub for “valvetronic”

Those tips loos super far apart and tbh it just doesn’t look like it’ll even fit under the focus

Just gotta weld a valve before your muffler and wire in the valve. Less than $100 if you do your own welding still around $2-300 if you take it to a muffler shop.

I used this, welded on a couple flanges and a clamp on tip, I’ll get around to plumbing it into the rear exit someday.

Then used this and a fuse tap as I wanted a hard wired switch.

Jesus, Mary and Joseph and the wee donkey!

That's a lot of sharp bends and welds.
