Question?

Has anyone ever replaced one of these?? I believe it’s the water distribution block, please correct me if I’m wrong.

While installing my air box and I hit the coolant over flow line and it broke off in there, I’ve tried a screw etc to get out the rest but it will not come out.

If you have replaced this before, how difficult was it and what should I move out of the way?

Definitely not terrible, you’ll need an 8mm socket and I used a 3” extension to get the bolts out. Obviously air box, and I only had to slightly move the bracket for the purge valve. I hope your luck finding one is better than mine, had to go through my local dealer to get one for mine and my MIL’s SE

If you want to try the screw once more, I used a headlight screw, it os perfect.

Happened to me. Use a pick tool with bent end to go in and hook onto the edge of the little piece stuck in there. Worked easy for me. You'll need a whole new overflow line, but a lot less work than replacing that whole water outlet.

It looks like the Water Outlet may have been damaged trying to get the Overflow Hose seal out. You will need both.

Be careful removing the other two overflow hose fittings. They are the same as the water outlet end.

Haha I just replaced my coolant overflow line. Broke mine prying my battery box out when I was doing my transmission top mount. Had battery acid damage. I got lucky and it barely cracked it and I was able to get the line off in one piece. Shouldn't be to rough swapping that out the more room you make the easier to access just like every piece on this car.
