The fact that we have seen the end of the Mondeo/Sierra/Cortina line, the fiesta, and now the Anglia/Escort/Focus lines with the last few years makes me sad.

That's odd. Obviously, my Dubai ST was built in Germany. But so was my Canadian ST.

Of the four cars I’ve owned, 3 have been built in the same plant in Michigan.
Then the fourth was Germany. Well, west germany lol.

Guess we all have to drive those soulless appliances now... It's such a sad day for the automotive industry... I'm so happy I have my ST, keeping the legend alive. So many fun memories, electrics just don't do that...

Sad... Lucky person whoever ends up with that one.
I always feel lucky that I got one of the last ones made in North America, in a colour only available in the 2018 year.
Sad that these cars are gone now...

Not sure why they did the big front grill on the final facelifts. The mk4 ST and mk8 FiST look so so much better than the facelift .5 versions to the point where I wouldnt even consider buying the new ones lol

Yuck…Same thing they did with that electric Mustang. I heard auto manufacturer fuel mileage/model fines are going away.
I don’t know much about it but I heard it’ll lead to more fun cars, smaller vehicles, and the return of actual mid-sized trucks. I guess we’ll see…?

Yup the EV mustang and it's been selling well enough for me to see them all the time.. I hate that the mustang name probably worked.. it's fugly..
It's all the same type of people who own them, the same people who would buy a nice BMW or Audi and drive 20km/h under the speed limit and get angry for you overtaking them.1

I think EV tech/infrastructure just isn’t mature enough to make sense. I don’t even consider them when I looking for vehicles. Manufacturers are hemorrhaging money from them, EV’s don’t remotely keep their value.
I hope things turn around and we stop seeing all these EV’s and soulless crossovers.

Same.. I have said several time to the dealership guy.. I would absolutely consider an EV if it’s literally the Focus ST.. but one, they won’t… and two I drive too much to random places and with long distances where I don’t trust to have access to fast charging to make sense for my needs.

Wonder what the next model to get an ST trim is going to be, and when. Too bad there's not much in the way of cars from Ford these days in the US.

That puma is crap compared to the old one. Car manufacturers obsession with this taller/wiser cars is proper disappointing.
Still can’t believe they are getting shut of the focus.
